Thanks for the kind words guys.
I'm hoping to do this more often.
Now feels like a good time to post another artist...

This post comes with a great deal of sadness. The next band I'd like to share are The Lapelles

The Lapelles are a band from East Kilbride. The band were due to support The Jesus and Mary Chain later this month, after recently supporting The View, Blossoms, The View and The Last Shadow Puppets.

At the weekend singer Gary Watson died from injuries after falling into the River Clyde in Glasgow, on what would have been his 22nd birthday.

The Lapelles were on the verge of big things.

Ladies and gentlemen The Lapelles.

The accident is so tragic. I've only heard their "Seventeen" before

Very sad news for the full music scene. I'm still shocked by the news.

The next artist I'd like to share is M.G. Evans.

He is an acoustic singer/songwriter from Glasgow.

He has recently signed to a New York record label and has released a single with another one following shortly. You can listen to them both here.

Here is a soundcloud link to M.G. Evans

He played at one of my gigs last night. His set will be released as a live album soon!

Throwing Them All Away is my favourite of his. It almost has me in tears every time I hear it live.

Ports of Essen are a rock n roll band from Glasgow. One of my favourite bands from Glasgow at the moment. I'd love to see them go on to bigger and better things.

Here is their debut single Sleep Tonight.

I like "Airbrushed", reminds a bit of Teenage Fanclub and britpop in general
