I guess I'm late again (haven't read all posts yet), but here is ...2 0 1 6
A very mediocre year for me with a fantastic personal Top 5, though! The rest is pretty forgettable or uninspired or just wasn't my cup of tea.My voting:
12 Ukraine - PERFECTION. 12 out of 12. 100%. GOOSEF*CKINGBUMPS.
10 Australia - Everything about this is so haunting. SO POWERFUL. AND SHE'S SO THANKFULFOREUROVISION.
8 Latvia - Still love it. Okay, I admit he exaggerated a little bit on stage
Aminata on the couch is so cute <3
7 Bulgaria - God I'm SOOOO happy for Bulgaria and Poli! Amazing. She reminds me of the Panem district 13 girl
This could've become a mainstream hit on the charts tbh!
6 Russia - A lot of hot guys in the couch scene (this sounds like a porn lol). I don't like how he shakes his head all the time
5 Austria - The surprise of the year! So happy she received so many televotes!
4 Israel - SEMI 2: HONESTLY did someone check out the three hot guys on the right side when they show the couch in the recap? LOL and the one is singing enthusiastically along, amazing
3 Armenia - Like damn she's hot. Great performance/concept!
2 Czechia - The 0 televoting points are a crime IMO! Strong lyrics!
1 Azerbaijan - She didn't have a really powerful voice live ... Oh it was better in the final! Can't believe they didn't end up in the Top 10 for three years in a row!Notable:
Greece - OMG the guys look so uninterested
Finland - Sorry, she looked terrible IMO
Poland - For me it's very interesting to see that anything can happen at Eurovision. #3 in the televoting, WOW. And we all thought it was a crime Margaret didn't go
I don't think Margaret would've gone Top 3. And her vocal performance would've been a risk. She should give it another chance in 2018, though!
Switzerland - what kind of choreography is that?
Serbia - It bugs me that the arrangement on stage reminds me too much of Molitva.
Italy - She is cute. This is the first year after 2011 that the Italian entry isn't really interesting to me.
Sweden - The close-ups didn't help.
Germany - From today's point of view: Nothing really fit together. But the song was a good one.
