I'm not gonna start this quite yet... but I'll reserve my space for it! :D

As you may know, I compile my year-end charts based on weekly chart performance. It usually gives a fairly accurate result! I've still got another chart or two left to go before the year-end chart gets finalized.

There may be plenty of songs you may not know (particularly by some of the Canadian artists that are bound to show up), but chances are you'll like some of my choices at least.

As for what my #1 song of the year... feel free to speculate!

You can check my top 100 of 2002 here in case you missed it last year.

I voted for Michelle, but I have a feeling she'll be the runner-up at #2! :o

It's not Jason, cos he only got to about #5 in your chart I think, so it's between 3 Doors Down and Michelle - I think I'll go with the majority and say Michelle here, cos I remember she was at the top for what seemed like forever!
Let's embrace the point of no return.

Hate to disappoint you Maaian - but the Appleton sisters are Canadian :o

Cool chart so far Bryan - that's all the big hits of the rock chart this year out with the exception of "Bring Me To Life"

They are, actually. Definitely.
This post is highly unlikely to be serious. Please treat it accordingly. Unless it's music-related, in which case I'm damn well right.

I'll triple confirm that - they did live in Canada for quite a while as they grew up - one of them does still have a bit of an accent in that regard apparently.....

Anyway, Appleton and Evanescence made my chart so I suppose it's all good! I still don't know whether I really like the No Doubt song, it irritates me a little at times!

Woo:

Simply Red - Sunrise - great comeback, chill-out tune - expect it in my (fave songs) chart

Evanescence (x2), Jewel, Kylie, No Doubt and Lasgo

Appleton - yay, another chillout track which took me ages to like but meh - are they indeed Canadian? :o

Semi-woo:

Simple Plan - Perfect - not bad but not exciting; love the cover though!

Boo:

No one!
