Right, let's start the new look chart

Here's this week's official UKMIX chart

1 (7) Darren Hayes - Insatiable
2 (12) Lasgo - Something
3 (14) Cher - Song For The Lonely
4 (3) Usher - U Turn
5 (4) R Kelly - World's Greatest
6 (1) Ali G and Shaggy - Me Julie
7 (13) Nickleback - How U Remind Me
8 (5) Beverley Knight - Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda
9 NEW Outkast - Whole World
10 (10) Will Young - Evergreen
11 NEW Sugababes featuring Gary Numan - Are Freaks Electric
12 NEW Ginuwine - Differences
13 (15) Jive Jones - Me Myself and I
14 (2) Alicia Keys - A Woman's Worth
15 (6) City High - Caramel
16 (8) Blue - Fly By II
17 (9) Michelle Branch - Everywhere
18 (11) Shakira - Whenever, Wherever
19 (16) Victoria Beckham featuring Robbie Craig - I Wish
20 (17) Michael Jackson - Unbreakable

Out of the Chart

(18) Five For Fighting - Superman
(19) Destiny's Child - Nasty Girl
(20) Mandy Moore - Only Hope

You may have noticed that there weren't 20 songs voted for - people ignored it this week. Hopefully from now on, we might get more interest in it. The bottom few, are therefore put in the order of last week. Biggest faller is Alicia Keys (from 3 votes to 0) Biggest climber Cher (from 14 to 3). No song got more than 1 vote!

Right now on to the new format.

You can choose up to 5 songs from a list comprising as follows.

1) The current UKMIX top 20 (as shown above)
2) The songs that have just fallen out of the UKMIX top 20 (as shown above)
3) The current UK top 10 that aren't in the list above. This at the moment is as follows

Rik Waller - I Will Always Love You
More Fire Crew - Oi!
Enrique Iglesias - Hero
Westlife - World Of Our Own

4) The new songs to be released on Monday (I know this means that for this week only, there are this weeks hits missing but bear with me on that)

George Michael - Freeek!
Gareth Gates - Unchained Melody
Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love
Pet Shop Boys - Home and Dry
Cassius Henry - Broke
Rival Schools - Used For Glue
Starsailor - Poor Misguided Fool
Baz - Smile To Shine
Way Out West - Mindcircus
Zero 7 - Distractions
Sissel - Carrier Of A Secret
Alkaline Trio - Stupid Kid
Seafood - Western Battle
Blaze featuring Sybil - When I Fall In Love
Fat Joe - We Thugging
Liquid State featuring Marcella Woods - Falling
Rhythm Masters - Ghetto

Now this means that songs can only enter the chart when they're released. In exceptional circumstances (e.g. Coldplay's "Don't Panic" or Enya's "Only Time" where a song has had massive publicity but is not getting a single release then it will be included in the most obvious week for it. Outkast, Cher, Sugababes, Ginuwine, Michelle Branch, Victoria Beckham, Michael Jackson, Five For Fighting, Destiny's Child and Mandy Moore are lucky for the moment, as they haven't been released but are still allowed to be in the chart prior to release, as they were in the chart previously.

Finally, here's my votes to start us off. Remember to put your 5 songs in order as where ties occur, the first songs voted for come first - that includes within one person's votes.

Beverley Knight - Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda
R Kelly - World's Greatest
Alkaline Trio - Stupid Kid

Here's one more chart rule - covering myself.

If by chance, I miss the fact that a song is due to be released - then I'll put it in the following week (assuming it wasn't delayed). Therefore, apologies to anyone on UKMIX who is stark raving mad, but you can't yet vote for "I Wish I Could Fly" by Keith Harris and his loveable green duck friend Orville!

EDITED

Just noticed that Keith Harris and Orville have actually not released, however Simple Minds have released "Cry". This will be added in next week.

Come on, come on... this week's chart is about to close - any last votes before it's too late. We still only have 19 songs voted for.

STOP! The chart has officially closed.
