"Firework" is probably my favourite Katy Perry song, but she has two non-singles - "Walking on Air" and "Roulette" - that are better than every non-"Firework" single she's released. As a singles act, though, she's been hugely impressive since "I Kissed a Girl".

Oh, ABBA. <3 They're behind some of my favourite songs of all-time. I like to think of them as a more interesting version of the Beatles.

Benny wrote:'The Day Before You Came' is beautiful, what an underrated masterpiece!
I hope it will be in Mamma Mia! 2, so it will reach a wider audience.

I'm going to have to think about that for a bit.......

I don't expect Kylie to be too high. Maybe looking at Top25? But I'll revisit this!
We are getting closer to The Top 25. Ready to guess where we'll find Kylie Minogue?

Barbra has such a voluminous discography. I'm not sure if I'll ever hear all the music she's recorded but what I've heard from her is pretty impressive. I love quite a few Barbra songs, but "Woman in Love" is probably my favourite.

I'm listening to "He Lives in You" now, and it's good!

My favourite Diana Ross song is "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," and it's nice to hear that message reiterated in "He Lives in You".

I don't only love He Lives In You on its own, but also as it is featured in the wonderful movie Double Platinum which stars Miss Ross and Brandy (as her daughter).

I'm sorry to say, but I find something missing. When the beat drops in there is hardly any singing. :-?

I do love Mariah's version where she combines it with Heartbreaker. The combo of those two songs turns it into a proper full on song for me.

When I hear it now, I start singing Heartbreaker on top of it to disguise the long instrumental part.

Katy has had a slippery last album but her count of great singles is high and I'm still interested in future output. Chained, Roar, Roulette and Firework are my faves.

ABBA are legendary and have an untouchable legacy with so many amazing songs. Some of my faves are:

Tiger
As Good As New
Dum Dum Diddle
If It Wasn't For The Nights
Super Trouper
Our Last Summer
Head Over Heels
Me & I
The Winner Takes It All
The Piper
One Of Us
Angeleyes
Gimme ! Gimme! Gimme!
Under Attack
The Name Of The Game
Happy New Year
Kisses Of Fire

Love Gloria especially a lot of her Miami Sound Machine work - Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, Can't Stay Away From You, Bad Boy, Conga, Betcha Say That, Anything For You...and I also love Go Away, Don't Wanna Lose You, Hotel Nacional.

Diana has so many classics and I saw her in concert once and she just floated around the stage, effortless audience command. My faves are Missing You, Muscles, Chain Reaction, The Boss, Take Me Higher, Not Over You Yet and He Lives In You. However check out New York's Sweet Sensation's stunning cover of Love Child - even better than the original.
This ain't gon be easy

Yes, Diana is a great performer. I've been lucky to have seen her live twice.

Listening right now to Sweet Sensation's version of Love Child. I like how they do a totally different take on the song. But it feels more like a fun song, while by The Supremes it is one of my favorites. I love the sad undertone it has and the drama of it all, which shows way more than on the Sweet Sensation version. Also, I miss the famous sample Janet Jackson uses.
