It is a bit indie... OK, a lot indie. Which is exactly what we need as a bit of relief from all the pop-centric ones.

You and I appear to have fairly similar taste in music, judging by that list. There's a bunch that I don't remember, but certainly none that I dislike.

Here's the ones I'm particularly fond of:

1. Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
4. Keane - Bedshaped
5. Courtney Love - Mono
7. Hope Of The States - Nehemiah
8. Killers - Somebody Told Me
10. Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster - I Could Be An Angle
14. Charlotte Hatherley - Kim Wilde
16. U2 - Vertigo
18. Razorlight - Golden Touch
19. Vines - Ride
21. Kasabian - L.S.F.
23. Snow Patrol - Run
24. Divine Comedy - Come Home Billy Bird
25. Keane - This Is The Last Time
27. Thrills - Whatever Happened To Corey Hain?
28. Franz Ferdinand - Michael
29. Others - Stan Bowles
32. Keane - Everybody's Changing
35. Morrissey - First Of The Gang To Die
37. Franz Ferdinand - This Fire
38. Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes
39. Von Bondies - C'mon C'mon
40. Girls Aloud - Love Machine
42. Morrissey - Irish Blood, English Heart
45. Killers - All These Things That I've Done
47. Art Brut - Modern Art
48. Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster - Mister Mental
51. Lostprophets - Last Train Home
52. White Stripes - The Hardest Button To Button
53. Franz Ferdinand - Matinee
55. Bloc Party - Helicopter
57. Death From Above 1979 - Romantic Rights
59. !!! - Hello Is This Thing On?
62. Bloc Party - Little Thoughts
64. Damien Rice - Cannonball
65. Libertines - Can't Stand Me Now
66. Hope Of The States - The Red, The White, The Black, The Blue
67. Dresden Dolls - Girl Anachronism
68. Belle and Sebastian - I'm A Cuckoo
71. Ben Kweller - The Rules
72. Kasabian - Cutt Off
73. Muse - Sing For Absolution
77. Embrace - Ashes
78. Charlatans - Up At The Lake
79. Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
80. Silver Sun - Bubblegum
82. Graham Coxon - Bittersweet Bundle Of Mystery
86. Embrace - Gravity
87. Mull Historical Society - How 'Bout I Love You More
88. Snow Patrol - Spitting Games
89. Graham Coxon - Freakin' Out
96. Modest Mouse - Ocean Breathes Sally
98. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Y Control
It's always nice to see Silver Sun in any positive list.
This post is highly unlikely to be serious. Please treat it accordingly. Unless it's music-related, in which case I'm damn well right.

I really like all of these. Similarly to Bry, I haven't heard quite a few of the others. I'll have to try and hear some of the others (especially the new TMBG material because I used to like their stuff).

Keane, Killers and Embrace I'm particularly pleased to see along with Snow Patrol's "Run".

Hi, nice to see all the comments. After an evening of flicking round the music channels I'm already changing it although the main change is going to be the inclusion somewhere of Toxic

I tend to listen to a lot of radio stations rather than just one or two and so I tend to get exposed to a lot of different stuff even though it all fits in the indie umbrella. Plus I do all the festivals and rarely go near the main stage - I stay in the tents all day and this is where a lot of my 100 have performed (it was weird seeing Do Me Bad Things at Leeds just after midday).

Most of the bands people haven't heard of are on the melodic side rather than the trashy side - if people like Snow Patrol they would probably like the Trashcan Sinatras or Ben Kweller or Phoenix or the Mull Historical Society. The International Noise Conspiracy are, musically, just like the Hives, but imagewise they couldn't be more different - TINC are a serious political group (and they're both Swedish which makes for a nice lazy comparison). Client are basically a sexier Human League.

At the other end of the scale - if you like Hey Ya by Outkast and you haven't heard Blankket's version - you really should download it from somewhere and see what you're missing

steophonic - if you used to like TMBG then you may be just like me, I bought and loved every album up to Apollo 18 and thought they went off the boil a bit with John Henry. The Spine is a real return to form, as good as anything they've done.

Again, I echo the sentiments and say I don't really dislike any of those (apart from Girls Aloud, and my favourites would be...

8. Killers - Somebody Told Me
16. U2 - Vertigo
23. Snow Patrol - Run
24. Divine Comedy - Come Home Billy Bird
25. Keane - This Is The Last Time
27. Thrills - Whatever Happened To Corey Hain?
32. Keane - Everybody's Changing
35. Morrissey - First Of The Gang To Die
45. Killers - All These Things That I've Done
53. Franz Ferdinand - Matinee
63. Rooney - I'm Shakin'
64. Damien Rice - Cannonball
77. Embrace - Ashes
79. Keane - Somewhere Only We Know

all of which are in my own top 100 - including half of my top 10!
