39. Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue
Image
The first and last thing I heard from them. Reminds me of my stay in Cali.

38. Janet - I Want You
Image
This was supposed to be Janet’s first single from her latest album. It flopped big time, but I still love it. More from this double a-side later 8-)

37. Usher – Burn
Image
Best thing Usher did so far. I’m not a big fan, but this one is just great.

36. Tyra - Country Boy
Let’s make em wissle y’all! *wissles* One of my favourite songs of the year and I still have no idea who the singer is…

35. Lenny Kravitz - Where Are We Runnin'
Image
First single from his latest called Baptism. I love Lenny! Look out for another one in this chart. 8-)

34. Kanye West - Through The Wire
Image
Debut single from Kanye. This was before he became all full of himself. Great tune.

33. Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For
Image
Take a chance you stipid ho!

32. The Corrs - Long Night
Image
One of the best things they did IMO.

31. Brandy ft. Lloyd Banks & Fabolous - Fall Back
Gangsta Brandy! She’s my girl. By the way, did I ever tell you about the time I touched Brandy's boob? 8-)

Image
Best duet of the year.

28. Freestylers - Push Up
Image
The first and last dance track in this chart. It’s so addictive!

27. Kelly Clarkson – Gone
Image
Album track. The 2nd Kelly song in my chart. Will there be more?

26. Ashlee Simspon – LaLa
Image
Ok, I have a confession to make. I loved her show. I know, shame on me. And even wors, I loved this song… moving on now!

Gigantic 100000km sized woo for Hoobastank! 8-)

'The Reason' is my 11th favourite tune of the year! :D

Woo for Anastacia and From those I heard, that LeAnn Rimes one was ok, as was the Shrek 2 one (the movie is tops though! :D I like Puss In Boots), and 'LaLa' isn't bad either. I don't really like 'Move Ya Body'

However, a big boo boo for 'My Boo'

20. Brandy – Finally
Image
One of my favourite Brandy tracks of all time. Should’ve been a single. Afrodisiac is my favourite album of the whole year. Too bad it didn’t sell. I fell in love with the demo of the song and I liked the final version even better. Finally is also Brandy’s favourite track of the album, so wooo for Finally!

19. Anastacia – Rearview
Image
Another album track. Very energetic song. Similar to Welcome to my truth.

18. Mandy Moore - Say Hey
Image
This song was and will never be released. Appearently Mandy isn’t crazy about the track. She told me on her message board that it’s just a demo a friend of hers did for her. Anyways, I love it!

17. Blue Lagoon - Break My Stride
Image
Huge hit in eastern Europe. Now I’m addicted to it. Be aware, it’s coming for you! :P

16. Marco Borsato - Voorbij (duet met Do)
Image
I’m usually not into Dutch music, but this one’s an exception. Marco Borsato, the best Dutch singer in the world, duets with “Heaven” vocalist and up-coming-star Do on this beautiful ballad. Too bad none of you understand the lyrics.

14. Janet - All Nite (Dont Stop)
Image
Now why did this not become a hit? Was it her boob? Is the world still not over that? C’mon, this song is amazing! My favourite janet tune of the year.

13. Lenny Kravitz – California
Image
Probably because I was there, but I love this song! Made me buy the album and I still don’t regret that. Lenny rocks! 8-)

12. Joss Stone - Fell In Love With A Boy
Image
Debut singer of Miss Joss. We share the same b-day 8-)

11. 3 Doors Down - Away From The Sun
Image
Pretty depressing song. Describes my world when I had to return to this cold shitty country. Great song though!

Thanks for the comments so far! Onto the Top 10 now.

10. The Corrs - Summer Sunshine
Image
In the heat of Summer Sunshine, I miss you, like nobody else... Ironicly, that line made me realize I didn't miss anyone in Holland and I could be fine all on my own in the US 8-) It's the best thing they've done since Breathless IMO.

9. Ashlee Simspon – Pieces Of Me
Image
Ok, since I was an addict of her MTV show, I started really liking this one. I just think it's a great song! I kinda overplayed it, so I'm really sick of it right now, but still... great song! 8-)

From the #9 to #20 gap, I really like Anastacia's, Lenny's, 3 Doors Down's hits and that Ashlee Simpson one ain't bad either! 8-)

8. Maria Mena - You're The Only One
Image
Another new artist of 2004. I instantly fell in love with this song. I even bought the album (which is just ok btw). Well, what more is there to say. It’s a fun song! :D

7. Brandy – Afrodisiac
Image
Hahahaha hahaha hahaha ha! My absolute favourite Brandy song of all time. Should’ve been a huge hit for her. Hopefully Jive will make her the big star she deserves to be.

6. Ryan Cabrera - On the Way Down
Image
Debut single from this Californian dude. One of the best pop tunes of the year IMO. They played it in my gym a lot so I remembered the lyrics, googled them and found out who he is. Wooo for google! 8-)

5. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved
Image
Bought the album after going crazy for This Love. This was an instant favourite of mine. I loved this song!... until the video had to ruin it. Don't know why, but when it got released as a single I started to dislike it. Probably overplayed it  Anyway, it's my #5 of the year!

4. Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending
Image
I loved the first 2 single from Avril and I really liked her album. After Sk8r Boi she kinda lost it IMO. The first single from her latest album was a complate letdown for me, so I never bought it, but when this one was released I went like WOW, she's back! Amazing song! Still didn't buy the album btw...

Anyone got a guess for my #1?

Woooo for Avril and Kelly's Gone!

HUGE wooo for Rearview!

and a MASSIVE wooo for Ronan & LeAnn!

I love your taste in music Matt! I think the number 1 will be an album track from Anastacia (or possibly Sick & Tired)!
Keep your eyes on me...
