2007 is almost over, and so it's time to look back at the highs and lows of the year. Whilst 2006 was the year many of my old favourite bands came back, 2007 was dominated very much by newcomers for me. However, just what is my favourite song of 2007?

The chart begins soon...

I really have no clue, but I'll go with Reverend and the Makers.

Jeff Buckley would be a nice one....

I'm gonna say Reverend and the Makers, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mika, The Fray, or one of the Little Man Tate songs was #1.

As a taster then, here's some of the stuff that you actually WON'T be seeing in my top 100 of the year.

101. My Chemical Romance - Famous Last Words
102. Sugababes - About You Now
103. Little Man Tate - Who Invented These Lists?
104. Scissor Sisters - Intermission
105. Scouting For Girls - She’s So Lovely
106. Newton Faulkner - Dream Catch Me
107. Regina Spektor - Better
108. Scouting For Girls - Elvis Ain’t Dead
109. Travis - Closer
110. Pigeon Detectives - Romantic Type
111. Pigeon Detectives - I'm Not Sorry
112. Pigeon Detectives - Take Her Back
113. Reverend and the Makers - Miss Brown
114. Akon - Sorry Blame It On Me
115. Feeling - Anyone
116. David Guetta featuring Chris Willis - Love Is Gone
117. Scissor Sisters - I Can't Decide
118. Scissor Sisters - She’s My Man
119. Rooney - When Did Your Heart Go Missing
120. Evanescence - Lithium
121. Enemy - Forty Days and Forty Nights
122. Ordinary Boys - I Luv U
123. Feeling - I Want You Now
124. Gossip - Standing In The Way Of Control
125. Helen Love - Jennifer Hanley
126. hellogoodbye - Here (In Your Arms)

132. Lily Allen - Knock 'Em Out
133. Elliot Minor - Parallel Worlds
134. Girls Aloud - Sexy! No No No
135. Regina Spektor - Summer In The City
136. Jack Penate - Spit At Stars
137. Erick E - The Beat Is Rockin'
138. Lee Mead - Any Dream Will Do
139. Little Man Tate - Three Day Rule
140. Enemy - Aggro
141. Reverend and the Makers - Armchair Detective
142. Lily Allen - Not Big
143. Cherry Ghost - Mathematics
144. Mika - Any Other World
145. View - Same Jeans
146. +44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating
147. Regina Spektor - Apres Moi
148. Foo Fighters - Long Road To Ruin
149. Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This
150. Fratellis - Vince the Loveable Stoner

There's two other very noticeable honourable mentions I have to make at this point

Amsterdam - Home
I loved everything from their last album, and doubtless will also love this. It's released on December 10th, and the only place I've found to hear it online requires me to download RealPlayer, and search through an audio of an entire Radio 2 show! Don't worry, this will be carried forward to my 2008 chart, if I do one.

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Yes, I wanted it to go to No. 1 and it even did go top 10 this year, but as it was my No. 1 song of 2006, I had to leave it off!

Out of your missed songs, woo for these:

Expect Sugababes, Travis, Evanescence, Sophie and Girls Aloud in my top 100 of 2007, and of course, Hinder made my top 10 last year

And of course, woo for "Chasing Cars"... that was in my top 5 last year... was still on my chart at the beginning of 2007, but didn't accumulate enough points for top 100 this year :P
