Here's the second huge chart run down from yours truly.
Through my life there's been almost 500 #1 singles,
I was born on July 4th 1985.

This chart should be a lot better because you should be able to click on each track name to hear a clip if you don't know the song.

Let's get in there then..

100
White Town-Your Woman

Topping the chart at the beginning of 1997, White Town aka Jyoti Mishra had their only big hit with this-followed a few months later with Undressed which only made #57, White Town are one of the most critically aclaimed one hit wonders of alltime!

99
Europe-The Final Countdown

This one became a UK #1 at the end of 1986, it gave them a first of 7 hits, the only to reach top 10 however, it was later re-released under a new remix in 1999, where it only managed to reach #39.
The song topped the chart in 13 different countries.

Tom, I thought yours was your 100 favourite songs of all time.

Shane, great topic - good to have one of these things in the Chart Chat forum, guess I should reply as usual

White Town - can never remember that track - will have to give it a listen

Europe - The Final Countdown - the first song I really truly liked. Amazing hit.

Now this one I have absolutely no idea what will be number one.

Great idea for a chart. I missed your last one. So I'm looking forward to following this one.

I remember 'your woman' It had a weird black and white video didn't it? I saw it on totp when it was #1. I thought it was quite a cool song.

Thanks for doing another chart to keep us all amused

Well I did ask that nobody else uses this format because like other things that have happened, when there's more than one going on at the same time it gets a bit 'milked'

Great idea Shane, love the song at #100. I don't remember the Europe song, as i wasn't born when it was #1.
Also, you're now the 5th person i know with that birthday.

I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with. Eternal's 'I Wanna Be The Only One' would get my vote, but only because I'm a big fan. :-)
Get thinking

I have a similar chart but I won't post it, it's not that interesting... Anywayz, Europe - Final Countdown, that's a gr8 choice for this chart - it's a great song, even the remixes. It's given political attachments in here and thus it is played loads.Love the #100 too

Yes but sadly not to Ukmixers it didn't make the top 20 in the Ultimat one hit wonder chart, unnofficially it would have been my chocie for the ultimate one hit wonder.

2 Unlimited-No Limits

At the time this was one of the most annoying songs around, but listening back-it's nto a bad old skool dance track at all.

It was the first new #1 of 1993 and spent 5 weeks there, they even bizzarely won a writers award for the line 'techno techno techno techno' in the track, althoughit's their only #1, 2 Unlimited had7 other top 10 hits including get ready for this and let the beat control your body
Bizzarely they changed the groups line up completely for their final single, Wanna get up in 1998.

97
S Express-Theme From S Express

This was the first of 2 #1 singles for Sonique, who later topped the chart as a solo artist in 2000 with It Feels So Good
S Express took this classic dance anthem to #1 for 2 weeks in April 1988, they went on to have another 6 singles, including a remix of this in 1996 (reaching #14 in the UK chart)

Gary Barlow-Love Won't Wait

Oh dear-the first of only 2 songs by Take That (or a member of) This gave Gary a second #1 in May '97.
Written by Madonna, Gary became the only act to have 10 #1s in the 90s.

95
Gary Barlow-Forever Love

...and here's the other one, giving Gary a first #1 single back in 1996, it took him almost a year to release his second, by song #6 he was an official failure.
Meanwhile Robbie has had huge success while Mark is finally about to :)

Fairground Attraction-Perfect

Featuring the vocals of Brit award winner Eddi Reader, Fairground Attraction went into #1 back in 1988 with this commercial radio classic! While Fairground Attraction went on to have just one more top 10 hit, Find My Love, Eddi went on to have 5 singles from 94 to 99, although none managed to get any higher than #26!

93
A1-Same Old Brand New You

As far as boybands go, this song was really not as bad as it should have been, they may be really really really annoying, but at the same time they can write their own music and produce terribly catchy tracks like this, their 2nd #1 back in winter 2000!
