At The Ballet. What a babe of a song. I’ve got the Barbra Streisand version with Anne Hathaway and Daisy Ridley on it and it’s also awesome!

Agreed! I have that version (as well as the Glee Cast cover) saved in my Spotify library. 8-)

• Forgive me for opening my first comment in 5ever with something negative...but I rushed in here after seeing your latest avatar change, and I'm a little (totally) heartbroken to see that "Delicate" is NOT among the reputation debuts    Just allow me a moment to mourn/mope, and I'll be alright...
• On the bright side, I'm pleased to see "King Of My Heart" come in 4th among the reputation entries, since it's been a close(ish) second for me since the album dropped! I think the chorus would've sounded right at home on 1989 (which is quite the compliment), and I love that (somewhat-jarring, but still so satisfying) drop/breakdown/whatever that immediately follows.
• I do enjoy "Getaway Car", it's just had the trouble of falling into this...middling territory for me. It's certainly not one of the album's most...challenging moments, but it also hasn't struck me enough to avoid getting over-shadowed by my early favorites.
• Speaking of early favorites, you saw the appeal of "Call It What You Want" well before I did, so I'm a little surprised it couldn't manage a return now. I simply (embarrassingly) didn't get it at first, but now I'd be tempted to rank it in my reputation Top 5.

Yet another chart that takes me for quite a ride, Akini! :D

I am happy to see "King Of My Heart" among your new entries as it is one of my favorite songs off "reputation".

I'm perfectly fine, I live on my own
I made up my mind, I'm better off bein' alone
We met a few weeks ago

<3 that song definitely would make my Top 50 at the moment if I did a new Taylor Swift countdown.

"Getaway Car" is such a stunning song, actually the entire part of reputation from track 8 to track 12 is my favorite - so I am also glad to see "Dancing With Our Hands Tied" in your Top 20.

apart from Taylor (I like every song by her that made your Top 20...)
"Rolling In The Deep" is one of THE songs of this current decade IMO. It never gets old. the "21" era was just so amazing. probably even more interesting than the "25" era as it was just so unbelieveable what she was able to achieve week after week in 2011!

love "deeper and deeper" and it's great that it pops up here from time to time. glad she sang it on the "rebel heart tour" (which i saw live).

I've been listening to "Delicate" today, and I'm slowly warming to it. :)

"King of My Heart" is definitely one of the stand-out tracks, but I think we both agree that this is a sub-par release from T-Swizzle. I'm getting close to calling it her weakest LP to date.

Oh, I've been swooning over the Shotgun shot in the dark hook since I first heard it. So epic!

Because "Call It What You Want" is fairly 'old' now, I haven't been playing it as much as the other songs. Keep in mind that I'm just now hearing Reputation[i] since she's [i]just now put it on Spotify. For me, "Call It What You Want" is the second best track on the album, so there's still lots of love from me for it.

Well, it's tracks nine to 14 that's the sweet spot for me. Glad you love "Getaway Car" as well! 8-)

Totally agree with your assessment of "Rolling in the Deep". I'd even go as far as calling it one of the best songs of all-time.

Lucky you!!! I think "Deeper and Deeper" is her best song ever, and certainly one of my top all-time faves.

Hi Akini :D

01.(16) Cheryl - Fight for This Love (Greatest Gainer)

So i'm totes taking credit for this appearance. Its by far Cheryl's best solo single.

05.(RE) Niall Horan - Slow Hands
08.(RE) Niall Horan - Flicker
15.(RE) Niall Horan - Too Much to Ask

Referring back to a comment you posted in your year end countdown, i was quite shocked to discover that Niall used to be your least favourite member of One Direction. :o It's quite weird though because i never found him that attractive to begin with but i liked his personality and his sense of humour. Now i'd say Niall has really matured and developed into one gorgeous guy. Zayn and Liam are also fine. ;)

Best of the rest:

04.(RE) Selena Gomez - Fetish (feat. Gucci Mane)
06.(RE) Zedd & Liam Payne - Get Low
07.(RE) DJ Khaled - I'm the One (feat. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, & Lil Wayne)
12.(RE) Hurts - Beautiful Ones
13.(RE) Ariana Grande - Moonlight
16.(NE) Ray Charles - Hit the Road Jack
17.(RE) George Michael - Father Figure
18.(RE) Katy Perry - Roulette
19.(RE) Rita Ora - Anywhere

Not played Moonlight for a while, might give one a listen later on. :D

As you should! You're also indirectly responsible for another Cheryl entry on today's chart.

I never thought Niall had much personality, and he didn't really shine on most of the 1D songs. He's definitely been shining as a solo star, but in the group, it was all about Harry and Zayn from my point of view. Liam seemed the third most relevant, Louis the fourth, and Niall the least.

You should. It's one of her finest tracks.

It's a really great line to lead into the chorus, no doubt about that!

JSparksFan wrote:Because "Call It What You Want" is fairly 'old' now, I haven't been playing it as much as the other songs. Keep in mind that I'm just now hearing Reputation since she's just now put it on Spotify. For me, "Call It What You Want" is the second best track on the album, so there's still lots of love from me for it.
Ah, that makes perfect sense . Of course you'd want to give your attention to the material that just became available! Forgive the painfully obvious question, but if No. 1 = "Getaway Car", No. 2 = "Call It What You Want", No. 3 = "King Of My Heart"? No. 4 - No. 5 = ? ?

• Kudos to Jake for inspiring these Cheryl throwbacks! Hard to believe that was 7-8 years ago now, but I really adored (and still do) all three singles from 3 Words. A shame that the rest of the album was MUCH more hit-or-miss (and more often "miss", at that...)
• Damn, if "Getaway Car" is already the lone reputation survivor, maybe there aren't even enough worthwhile options for that Top 5 that I requested above...
• Possibly due to you shining a spotlight on her racist past (and a little help from Ed+Bey), it looks like Camila won't be claiming her first Hot 100 No. 1 anytime soon...
• So many solid Imagine Dragons singles re-appearing! Funnily enough, their big breakthrough "Radioactive" is probably my least favorite of the bunch here  No love for "It's Time", though?

Yet another chart that has EXACTLY what it takes, Akini! :D

That's an ambitious guess of where "King of My Heart" ranks. My Reputation Top 5 looks like:

1. Getaway Car
2. Call It What You Want
3. ...Ready for It?
4. Look What You Made Me Do
5. This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things

"King of My Heart" is probably eighth, after the ones above + "Dancing with Our Hands Tied" and "I Did Something Bad". Typing out these song titles just drives home the point that this album's focal point is a mess.

It's year-end-countdown season, so Taylor is competing against the wave of my favourite songs of the year, and Reputation isn't strong enough to stand up to that.

And if the world needed a speck of justice this season, it looks like "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is coming for a Top 5/10 Hot 100 peak! 8-)

"It's Time" is cute, but too simple, and lacks a strong message.
Franklin’s music profoundly touched and changed the world, because over and over it offered that bridge to salvation, to freedom.
