Oooh, I'd love it if it were VV.

Cornerstone would be good too! Both were #1s on my personal chart this year. :)

The three songs that remind me of you are I'm Yours, Bad Boys & Shark in the Water.
Mraz charted last year it seems though!

No. Fooking. Idea.

I'm gonna go with Alexandra too cos I'm at a loss (even though I'm not fussed on the song myself).
Let's embrace the point of no return.

I love Dizzee, but "Holiday" was by far his weakest single this year. I much preferred the amazing "Bonkers" and "Dirtee Cash".

I don't think the number one is clear cut but I have a feeling that it'll be one of Alexandra, Saturdays or VV Brown.

I've gone with Alexandra as I can't see past her for your number one this year.

I would love to be proven wrong and see Arctic Monkeys or BEP's take the top spot (although don't remember you liking the BEP one at all!)

Looking forward to the countdown, as always. :D

Thanks for your comments and votes all, interesting that it's so clear cut, only a third of the songs have votes thus far!

Plym, yeah Jason released two singles last year to no avail so they charted then!

Keep voting and commenting, the chart begins soon!

wow, I struggle to do a top 20 albums, never mind 100 bloody songs!!

I've gone with VV. As much as I know you stan hard for Alexandra, I do feel you were much more enthusiastic about VV's 'Shark in The Water', and rightly so.

oh, and ew @ last years winner!

I really can't see it being anyone other than Alexandra Burke or VV Brown!
Going to vote for Alexandra Burke, but I was horribly wrong last year!
I have a feeling I'll have done better this year, even if she isn't #1!

Thanks for the votes so far people, at this stage Alexandra has nearly half of all the votes.. we shall see, as we begin the countdown - NOW!

100. Jennifer Hudson - If This Isn't Love
Kicking us off this year is this beautiful midtempo from vocal powerhouse J-Hud. Less obviously catchy than 'Spotlight', but for me it has aged better, still sounding good today. Complete with insanely good ad libs at the end, a great radio number.

099. Franz Ferdinand - No You Girls
The catchiest Franz release in quite some time, following up the also-great Ulysses, No You Girls did just enough to sneak into my top 100 songs, probably one of the first Franz to do so. Undeniably singalong!

098. Taylor Swift - Love Story
Now for a song that radio absolutely hammered, but that still stands the test of time of sounding absolutely brilliant! The build up leadubg to the keychange at the end remains epic to this day, Taylor has a lovely voice and a great ear for a melody. Will be played on the radio for years to come.

097. Young Soul Rebels - I Got Soul
Roping in all of my favourite acts of the moment - Tinchy, VV, MPHO, Kid British, Chipmunk - it couldn't really go wrong could it? This song which samples the Killers biggest hit wasn't up there with their best work individually but was still a nice little track for a fantastic cause

096. Kid Cudi vs Crookers - Day & Nite
This was huge very early on in the year and it is now to be honest a bit overplayed and old to me. However I haven't forgotten how totally fresh the tune and bassline was when this first came out. I remember hearing it last New Years Eve when it was still very new and thinking 'this will make my year end chart' - well it's not especially high but it's still a cracking clubbing tune!

095. Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal
I was never really that brushed up on Fleet Foxes knowledge until this single came out. I heard it on Radio 1 and just thought it was utterly beautiful and mesmerising. I hate Christmas songs so to have this as a winter alternative is a much preferred option! Stunning.

094. Muse - Uprising
I'm not usually the most massive Muse fan but when I saw them at V Festival I thought they were superb - and they've had a really good year in my eyes - with this and the new single both ranking among my favourite they have released. This single rings of Queen and is a bit of an anthem really, good work!

093. Tinchy Stryder & Amelle Berrabah - Never Leave You
At 93 is a song that was an obvious No.1 from the first time I heard it. For me, it was instantly a hit. I have gone off it as time goes on, as with all of Tinchy's big hits they have been played out to death, but there's still no denying he writes some great pop tunes with intelligent raps and catchy melodies. Amelle adds a touch of grit to a great little pop song.

092. Beyonce - Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)
I gave this song a special mention at the end of last year, and then it ended up bagging a release in February anyway so I decided to include it in the chart. It's one of those songs that is a bit annoying now if it comes on the radio BUT if you hear it when in the club it's absolutely immense. For a song that most people deemed so average when it premiered, it's really become a classic!

091. Kid Cudi ft. Kanye West & Common - Make Her Say
And finally a second entry in the top 100 for Kid Cudi with this inspired working of an acoustic Lady GaGa hit. It's witty, it's funny and it's catchy, such a great idea and the three rappers work so well around GaGa's original. Inspired.

More to come!

Nice to see Kid Cudi's both singles on your Top 100. But really bad position for Beyonce's amazing "Single Ladies".

Some great songs there, especially Muse.

I have no idea who your #1 will be - I hope it's Mochelle & Others but I doubt it.
