Good graphics, eh? Bless WordArt. Anything more complicated then I'm stumped.

Basically, I'm not going to do an End Of Year countdown. Instead, I'm gonna do an End of Decade countdown. Inside this countdown, there will be four countdowns, one after each other, the first will be my Top 200 singles of the Noughties.

Anyone's free to compliment/criticise my music taste as go on this epic journey.

Stay tuned ...

Epic is the word... will it end by the end of the next decade?

I tend to go through countdowns quite fast so it'll probably be over by Sunday. :P

#200 - #191

200. ANASTACIA - I'm Outta Love

Image

This is probably the song that Anastacia is best known for. It's a song that makes me feel good about myself. I'd love to romp to this one in a club but I've never heard it being played. I love the video too - it was Anastacia in her prime before her latest flop album.

199. ROOSTER - Staring At The Sun

Image

In an age of music where Indie crap ruled the British scene and pop music was sadly shoved to the side, Busted (who I loathe) paved the way for many different bands - Rooster being one of them. Although they flopped, this song remains one of my favourites of theirs.

198. ROBBIE WILLIAMS - Radio

Image

Off the back of his Greatest Hits collection, he released this song. In my opinion, it's one of his beest up-tempos and stands out from his large collection of dreary ballads. I wish he did more songs like this.

197. SUGABABES - Ugly

Image

From their 'Taller In More Ways' album and the last Mutya single is 'Ugly'. A great little midtempo which stands out from the rest of the girls' discography. I overplayed thi ssong to death when I first got my paws on it, hence why it's this low in my chart.

196. P!NK - Feel Good Time (feat. William Orbit)

Image

I'm not a huge fan of P!nk but this song is great. I'm not sure whether I like it more because it's featured in Charlie's Angels (one of my favourite movies) or because it's a good song. Either way, she has yet to impress me with something this decent (So What came quite close though).

195. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - SexyBack (feat. Timbaland)

Image

After an absence from the music scene, JT came back with this sexy number. It stormed the clubs and I know few people who dislike it. Great song from his better album. I'm hoping he comes back with something just as decent.

194. ROBYN - With Every Heartbeat (feat. Kleerup)

Image

Robyn broke into the music scene with this nifty little number. 'With Every Heartbeat' was a smash record and everyone was raving about it. Admittedly, I wasn't overly keen on it until Girls Aloud covered it but it's still a really good song.

193. JORDIN SPARKS - Battlefield

Image

It toook me a couple of weeks to like this song but I really do like it. I find it to be similar to something that JoJo would've released (that's not necessarily a bad thing). It was a amssive success and deservedly so.

192. ESTELLE - Go Gone

Image

Before she became really successful (thanks to Kanye), she released her album 'The 18th Day'. 'Go Gone' was the standout song from the album and was released as a single, charting at a very impressive #32.

191. MIS-TEEQ - Can't Get It Back

Image

Alesha & the other two who no one gives a real sh** about released this song soon after 'Scandalous' became a hit. I find this song to be one of their best songs and it's a shame that they were the last decent female urban group that the UK have produced.

How odd seeing Sabrina as the "lead" on the single cover! :D

Sugababes, Robyn/ Kleerup, Robbie, Jordin, Estelle good. Rooster were awful.

Precisely. Even Mis-Teeq. Aside from Rooster this is shaping up to be quite a decent chart, unless you've put all the good stuff before all the Duff & Cyrus 'classics' :P

It's all an illusion. My Top 50 is composted entirely of Hannah Montana songs.

In all seriousness, I think my chart will have a good mixture of stuff. The stuff towards the top end will be more poppy but, as I mentioned, it is my favourite genre. So brace yourself ... I want no music snobbery in this thread, thankyouverymuch. :P

Woo for Rooster (glad to see somebody likes them <3), Sugababes and Mis-Teeq.

Meh to Justin, SexyBack isn't his finest moment, I much prefer My Love and What Goes Around...
