CIt's that time of year guys. As the new year is approaching us, I am going to be compiling my "Hot 100 Songs of 2009". I think that 2009 has been a brilliant year for music. We've had many brilliant newcomers, many brilliant albums, many brilliant singles, many brilliant comebacks and many brilliant live performances! Basically 2009 has been a brilliant year!
A great close to a great decade, both in terms of music and in my life.

Hopefully there is something for everyone in my list, but it is (as expected) Pop/R&B heavy! :)

Thanks for the comments and votes! Please keep voting! :)

After coming up with a list of over 250 singles worthy enough of my love, I needed to cut down to 100 obviously.
Here are the 30 odd that I really do love, but because of the quality of music this year, missed out on my top 100! :(

Alicia Keys - Doesn't Mean Anything
Black Eyed Peas - Meet Me Halfway
Booty Luv - Say It
Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone
Cascada - Evacuate The Dancefloor
Chipmunk (feat. Talay Riley) - Look For Me
Daniel Merriweather (feat. Adele) - Water and A Flame
David Geutta (feat. Estelle) - One Love
Ciara (feat. Justin Timberlake) - Love Sex Magic
Kid Cudi (feat. Kanye West, Common & Lady GaGa) - Make Her Say
Eva Simons - Silly Boy
Frankmusik - Better Off As Two
Freemasons (feat. Sophie Ellis-Bextor) - Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer
Jay Sean (feat. Lil' Wayne) - Down
Jay-Z (feat. Rihanna & Kanye West) - Run This Town
Jessica Mauboy - Because
Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone
Kris Allen - Live Like We're Dying
Kristinia Debarge - Goodbye
La Roux - In For The Kill
Lily Allen - 22
Lily Allen - F**k you

Damn! Quite a few songs I like there, especially Saturdays, Merriweather and KClarkson.

I actually think the quality of music this year has been fairly rubbish. :P Still looking forward to your chart, though... 8-)
