Björk adds so much new stuff to every album, it is no surprise she turns off many fans that can't handle it. After Medúlla and Volta extravaganza I am a bit disappointed by the quietness of Biophilia, I am missing the really weird tracks.

Don't you consider Cosmogony, Crystalline, Virus, Hollow non-quiet and slightly weird? I still get your point though, and agree.

Volta was mad! It was raw and earthy.

Yeah, Volta was mad!!! Volta was mad!!! So many great moments. Raise your flag. Can you spot a pattern. Muddy with twigs and branches. The thrill of fe-e-aaaar. :D :D :D :P

Biophilia is still too fresh to judge. My owl has not risen yet high in the evening sky to look back at the Biophilia day and compass its greatness. Looking at the 4 tracks you mentioned, I feel Cosmogony stands out for me at the moment, but I always have to think of the live version that leaked this summer on YouTube, it was much better, much more sounds. The album version sounds a bit dull, as if they used way too much noise control, it is as if I hear it through a wall.

I made playlists of my monthly most listened songs on my last.fm account. You can listen there if you like. This works best with a Chrome extension.

November 2011

What a month in music again!
Kate Bush released her brand new album!
I discovered that I like a female rapper!
Björk is still big with Biophilia.
And there were plenty of chances for me to listen to mainstream.
And please, everyone try out David Lynch's Good Day Today. It is amazing.

^ :D :P Yes, and they have such a variety of songs, I never seem to get bored. And I still haven't really digested Lionheart and Never For Ever. Still so much to explore with Kate for me.

GREAT, chun!!! :D

"Mutual Core" is my favourite song on "Biophilia", so I'm really happy to see how great Björk is doing in your charts! Another week at #1!

By the way, as I've seen, everybody loves "50 Words For Snow"... I can't wait to get mine!! :P

P.S.: Just added you on Last.Fm.

Hey KevinScream, thank you. I just replied your request. :D

In fact, it is the second month at #1 for Mutual Core :) Yes Kate is great for this time of year (it is winter, really cold, in Germany). Fingers crossed you'll get your copy soon!

Oh yes!! Sorry.

The last time I checked "Biophilia" on Last.Fm, "Mutual Core" was one of tracks with less listeners. Too sad.

"50 Words For Snow" + Winter are a perfect combination, but it doesn't work for me. There's no snow here, nor properly winters. :(

Yeah I thought you would not have proper winter in Brazil. Is it colder in July? :( At the moment it is just a bit too cold, 0°C, always cold feet, and I have seen the sun only for 3 minutes today. Always foggy but it didn't rain for 6 weeks. Strange. Did you ever do a trip to the Andes? It must be amazing, the change of climate. I love the mountains!!!

No, I didn't, but that would be amazing! =\

By the way, it's not that cold even in July... the colder temperature we get here is about 10-15ºC (perhaps 5ºC in the extreme south of Brazil).

It's ~27ºC right now.

Well, we have 25 to 30° in July and -10° to +5° in January. I would love to have 15 to 20° the whole year but it's either too hot or too cold. :x

The Nicki Minaj songs are good. I am yet to check out the Bjork or Kate Bush albums so I can't comment on those tracks. I'm sure they are very good though. I will need to have a listen :)
