2010 was another average year in music for me. Although UKMIX opened me up to a lot of new songs, it still felt as though there's been something missing from music for the last two years. But I've scrapped through my personal chart, which can be found here (where you can also view my Top 10s of the last 10 years) and compiled 100 highlights of the year.

In addition to my Top 100 singles countdown, you're going to be treated to my favourite albums, TV series' and films of 2010.

I created a poll of 10 songs of the last year. Try and guess which one will make it to the top spot and be crowned the ultimate song of 2010.

Gone for Brandon Flowers as I know we both share a love for him. :P

Though one of those dreadful Glee songs might get it!

I'm looking forward to this though - with the exception of Glee, we're normally on the same wavelength.

sheesh...I guess everyone's doing a pre-mature year-end countdown now ;)

kidding, of course! of all the countdowns, yours is the one I anticipate the most :D and, for the record, Glee got my vote.

Most of us start on the 1st of December or so every year!

I am SO stuck on this. Saturdays or Glee I guess. Going for the Saturdays.

I've definitely come to notice that, but just felt like giving Pete a hard time ;) I know Billboard compiles their year-end data way before the end of the calendar year too.

If you ask me a year ago if I would ever like a Lady GaGa song, I would've probably told you where to go, but two of her biggest singles: Alejandro and the Beyoncé-featured Telephone make my Top 100. We see Eminem's collaboration of Love The Way You Lie with Rihanna bow out at #91 if she realeases Part II then I can see it charting high next year. Usher and Will.I.Am's collaboration of OMG bows in at #94, if it wasn't so overplayed it would've probably been higher. As much as I can't stand the woman, Cheryl Cole lands in at #99 with Promise This - I charted it purely on the annoyingly amazing French spoken parts alone. UK's most famous Jazzman sees his Love Ain't Gonna Let You Down leave the countdown early. A former student of my University enters at #97 with Starry Eyed, while Pink crashed out at #96 with Raise Your Glass. Glee's Naya Rivera's brilliant rendition of Valerie charts well for a newly released song, while Mark Ronson's Bang Bang Bang blasts in at #92.

love love LOVE your presentation :o too busy with schoolwork my arse...

not surprisingly, your list is already full of awesome songs! "Telephone" is definitely my favorite in this first bunch (it'll certainly make my year-end Top 10), but "Alejandro", "Promise This", "Starry Eyed", "Raise Your Glass" and "OMG" are all GREAT too!

hopefully the fact that there's already so many quality songs doesn't mean that the upper regions of your chart will be pure rubbish ;)

Glee seems too obvious - based on length of time you voted it on the Pop Chart, i went with Brandon.

Presentation is like Top Of The Pops! :P

Excellent: Alejandro, Starry Eyed.
Great: Telephone, Promise This.

Great presentation indeed.

Good start too! Woo for GaGa x2 and P!nk. Love The Way You Lie is not bad but slightly overrated.
