You should listen to Sleepwalker too if you haven't already.
It took me a couple plays to get DCP, too. And I already knew Sleepwalker! It's so good. :D The chorus falls a bit flat but the rest is ace

Welcome back to another week of the great HORrible music chart. A lot of my listening habits in the past few months have been inconsistent so you may notice songs have a lot less longevity than before; it may or may not be a phase. This week we see some great falls and some great debuts. Florence exhibits her dominance this week with a new number one while Madonna makes a huge impact on the album charts.

(6)(2) Wildest Dreams - Taylor Swift......................... (2)(2)
(NE)(7) Joan of Arc - Madonna.................................. (7)(1)

Flawless tracks, some of the best songs from their parent albums. :D
Joan Of Arc is especially great, it’s definitely one of my favourites from Rebel Heart.

HBHBHB is great, I haven’t listened to it half as much as I should’ve though. I dunno why, hopefully I’ll click with me again sometime.
Taylor’s album is so good, apart from the ballads it’s flawless. I dunno why I disliked it originally.
Rebel Heart is probably my fav Madge album since her 80’s albums tbh, such a massive step up from the awful MDNA.

HBHBHB just recently completely clicked with me, I LOVE it! 1989's ballads are amazing byeeeee  BB, HYGTFO are the bad ones. As far as RH being her best since the 80s, did you completely ignore her artistic peak that was 89-2005? those were hands down her best albums <3

Tbh I never liked the ballads, they're listenable but that’s it. She had much better ballads on her other albums IMO.

I always preferred Madonna’s 80’s stuff tbh, I like her 90’s music too, just not as much. Ray Of Light is pretty good, as is Bedtime Stories but I hate Erotica, unlistenable for the most part IMO. I haven’t checked Music bar the singles and I only liked the singles from Confessions & American Life. Hate MDNA but I love Hard Candy (My first Madonna album) & Rebel Heart. True Blue is my favourite album from her though, love every track.

Calling it "Horrible Music" makes it seem like you think it's all bloody horrible music (and some entries would indicate as such..jk) BUT please change that title it's bloody awful.

Oh I like the Kraftwerk & Madonna entries buddy. x

Great debut for "Me & The Rhythm" and it's nice to see Brandon Flowers still being successful apart from stevvy's chart here on Ukmix ;)

Okay, your Madonna taste is literally the opposite of mine. Your favorite albums are her worst in my opinion. True Filler and Hard Fail? HEr 90s/early 2000s albums were her most introspective and musically interesting works.

I heard his name before so I checked his album, while it's nice enough to listen to Can't Deny My Love is the only stand out for me, it's one hell of a song!

I call it that because it's the music I listen to  like it's Hor's music chart, it's HORrible not horrible lol. Madge is one of my favorites, you should expect irony all the time

Great to see 1989 and Revival so high! 8-)

Quick question if you don't mind me asking, what does the "sales" in your chart represent and how do you calculate them? :)

Great albums!

Also, it's sort of random. Usually, it depends on a couple of things, for example the season. (Fall and early winter see better sales than late Winder and Spring/Summer). Also, it depends on how much the number one album dominated in comparison to the others. For example, on the release week of 1989, it probably would've been like

1. 1989 - 1,000,000 - 1,000,000
2. Another irrelevant album 50,000 - Total sales

but on a close week like a random week without any new releases, if I hear the albums more equally, it'd belike

1. Album 1 - 175,000
2. Album 2 - 170,000
3. Album 3 - 150,000

etc... :D kinda like pop bars on itunes turned into sales, I guess haha

It's yet another week of HORrible Music! No, contrary to popular belief, it is not because horrible music makes up this weekly chart. It's just a nice adjective for my beloved nickname, Hor  and that's better than Horish or wHOReish, etc... Anyway. Florence remains the Queen of (Peace) my chart and Madonna continues to dominate the album charts. Adele's comeback single was close to making it. Watch out for her big debut next week!
