Kiko Bun - Sweetie
1 1 1 Just 7 new entries, but all in the top 30 and most top 20. Still it's Kiko Bun for a third week who holds onto the top with "Sweetie", it's close with Jahmene who moves up to 2 with "Is This The Time?", while the highest new entry is at 4 for Galantis. "Make Me Feel" is their first top 5 hit, following the no.7 peaks of both "No Money" and "Runaway", it's in fact a 6th hit for them in just over a year.
In at 6 this week is DJ Snake. His only other charting hit for me was last years chart topper and years biggest hit "Lean On" with Major Lazer. "Let Me Love You" is a 12th hit for Justin Bieber, the only one to chart higher was also a feature on Far East Movement's "Live My Life" which made no.4 in 2012. Last year he made no.6 on "Sorry" and no.8 on "What Do You Mean?". His only other top 10 was featured on Chris Browns "Next 2 Me", making no.10 in 2011.
Finlands Sandhja may not have progressed past the semi's this year but she did top my chart with "Sing It Away", her follow up, "Love Me High" has followed it straight into the top 10 at no.9 this week. Just missing out on the top 10 is Ferreck Dawn with 4th hit "Sublime" at no.11. Previous peak was no.19 with "Love Too Deep" in 2014. This one is a collaboration with Joe Stone who in turn gets a third hit, he made no.3 last year with "The Party".
The final top 20 new entry this week comes from all manner of artists, lead by Don Diablo, "What We Started" is new at 17 and gives him a second hit, it follows last years "Got The Love" which made no.28. The track is also a 6th hit for Steve Aoki who's only higher position was on 2011 chart topper "No Beef" with Afrojack, the song features BullySongs who were also on recent Armin Van Buuren no.25 hit "Freefall".
Outside the top 20 there's a 23rd hit for Kate Nash. "Good Summer" is the lead single from her forthcoming fourth album. So far all her previous albums have had at least a single chart topper. "Birds", "Mouthwash" and "Pumpkin Soup" all made no.1 from her debut, "Don't You Want To Share The Guilt?" and "I Just Love You More" from her sophomore and "OMG" from her last. This one begins at 22.
Stylo G takes the final new entry of the week at 28 with "Bike Engine", this is his 7th hit in total, 2 of which being top 10s, "Move Back" made no.4 and "Call Mi A Leader" no.9.
