And I don't like AO2! BBHMM and FFS are great but AO2 is just trash imo
It took me quite a while to listen to AO2 because the majority of People said it's a bad track but I love it actually. Definitely more than BBHMM and maybe also more than FFS if I'm quite honest. 8-)
Congrats on your 1000 Posts btw!!! :D

For me, BBHMM is the best! I think if she release the music video for it in the right time, it'll go top 10 and even top 5 easily.
FFS deserve it's success tho! Not a no 1 material so I'm fine with 4 on bb hot 100. And now she need to release number 1 material single!
AO2 is just too long and I don't like it
And thanks<3

I really like the Video for BBHMM even though it came pretty late.

Surprisingly high, but good debut for "American Oxygen". I'm not a big fan of all three songs we got by her this year to be honest, but "American Oxygen" was the best for me so i'm happy it gets some success on your charts.
I also love the entry for "Powerful", this was such a huge grower for me!

Also good to see the success for Passengers, "Whispers" was good! :)
And never saw that cover for "Night Changes", it's cute

Powerful is most likely a grower for me, but for now it Looks like this is the first single for Ellie since "Anything Could Happen" which won't make it to the Top 10.

I never saw it either, but I found it when I searched it. :D

Robin Schulz “Sun Goes Down (ft. Jasmine Thompson)” (23-21-17-12-*7*-9-11-13-17-22-26-29-33-36-39-X)

A new week – a new #1 hit. Paloma Faith finally gets to #1 with “Only Love Can Hurt Like This” in its 19th week on the chart – this is a new record. She breaks Adele’s record whose “Turning Tables” took 15 weeks to make it to the top of the charts back in 2012. Another song which took lots of weeks to make it to the top was Maroon 5’s “Payphone (ft. Wiz Khalifa)” with 13 weeks. Also Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild” returned to #1 in 2012 after 13 weeks again.
“Only Love Can Hurt Like This” is the first #1 hit for Paloma Faith on my charts. Her second song which is currently charting, “Can’t Rely On You”, climbs 26-21.

Disclosure climb into the Top 5 this week with their Gregory Porter collaboration “Holding On”. It ties “White Noise (ft. AlunaGeorge)” as their highest peaking single so far. It’s the first Top 5 entry for Gregory Porter ever.

This week we have two new songs which reach the Top 10 for the first time ever. Kelly Clarkson’s second single from her current album moves up to #9 this week. Also Calvin Harris’, who almost gets hit after hit in my charts, moves up to #8 this week. “How Deep Is Your Love” is the first Top 10 entry for Disciples ever.

In the Top 20 there’s some major movement: Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore”, Florence + The Machine’s “Ship To Wreck”, Avicii’s “Waiting For Love” and Jason Derulo’s “Cheyenne” all get new peak positions within the Top 20 this week.

There are three new entries this week. The highest is Sigma with “Glitterball” which also features Ella Henderson. It is the fourth entry for Sigma so far and the second one for Ella Henderson after her song “Ghost” couldn’t set my charts on fire (…. And peaked at #35).
The second highest entry comes from James Bay. “Let It Go” is the second single from his current debut album “Chaos And The Calm” to chart here.
The lowest new entry this week is Parson James’ “Sinner Like You”. It is Parson James’ second chart entry (after “Stole The Show”).

Next week, there will probably be a new #1 hit. A #1 debut is very likely at this point. There will also be the debut of the new single by one of the most successful artists on my charts. And a legendary act will probably make a comeback on my charts after more than 2 years!

Albums:

TW LW PP A P WOC
01 01 01 Madonna Rebel Heart (22)
02 NE 02 Joss Stone Water For Your Soul (1)
03 02 01 Taylor Swift 1989 (32)
04 04 01 Paloma Faith A Perfect Contradiction (11)
05 03 01 Kelly Clarkson Piece By Piece (23)
06 05 01 Lana Del Rey Ultraviolence (60)
07 06 05 Jason Derulo Everything Is 4 (9)
08 07 06 Tove Lo Queen Of The Clouds (15)
09 10 02 Florence + The Machine How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (10)
10 08 08 Years & Years Communion (2)

Madonna remains at #1 with her current album “Rebel Heart”. It is the album’s eighth week at #1 so far. This means it ties Taylor Swift’s “1989” as the longest #1 album of the year so far.
This is Madonna’s 22nd week at #1 in total and it took her three albums to reach that amount of weeks.

English singer-songwriter Joss Stone gets her third consecutive #2 peaking album (following “LP1” and “The Soul Sessions vol. 2”) with her seventh studio album “Water For Your Soul”. It is the first time since 2012 that she makes an appearance on my album charts. It is also her third Top 10 album on my charts.

There’s is no big movement in the album charts this week.

Hi luckyONE :D

Love so many songs in your chart, so here's my pick of the lot. Bold songs made #1 in my chart.

01 03 01 Paloma Faith Only Love Can Hurt Like This (19)
03 02 01 Taylor Swift Bad Blood (11)
04 04 04 Rihanna American Oxygen (2)
05 07 05 Disclosure Holding On (ft. Gregory Porter) (9)
06 05 01 Jess Glynne Hold My Hand (20)
07 06 01 Madonna Living For Love (31)
08 11 08 Calvin Harris How Deep Is Your Love (ft. Disciples) (3)
09 12 09 Kelly Clarkson Invincible (8)
10 08 05 Tinie Tempah Not Letting Go (ft. Jess Glynne) (8)
11 09 05 Sia Fire Meet Gasoline (14)
13 10 08 Kygo Stole The Show (ft. Parson James) (7)
14 18 14 Florence+ The Machine Ship To Wreck (5)
15 13 08 Tove Lo Talking Body (15)
17 15 05 Jason Derulo Want To Want Me (12)
18 17 04 Rihanna Bitch Better Have My Money (12)
22 21 01 Clean Bandit Real Love (ft. Jess Glynne) (33)
23 NE 23 Sigma Glitterball (ft. Ella Henderson) (1)
24 19 07 Major Lazer Lean On (ft. MO & DJ Snake) (16)
26 24 04 Madonna Ghosttown (15)

27 23 06 Taylor Swift Style (21)
28 28 28 Meghan Trainor Dear Future Husband (6)
29 30 29 John Newman Come And Get It (3)
31 27 04 Taylor Swift Blank Space (30)
32 29 04 David Guetta What I Did For Love (ft. Emeli Sandé) (28)
33 35 33 Major Lazer Powerful (ft. Ellie Goulding & Tarrus Riley) (2)
36 37 01 Rihanna FourFiveSeocnds (ft. Paul McCartney & Kanye West) (28)
37 31 31 Madcon Don’t Worry (ft. Ray Dalton) (5)

I notice most songs grow in popularity and gradually climb up your chart, so it's so good to see How deep is your love already in your top 10 in its third week. It's been a massive grower for me too starting off at #20 as a new entry for me, and now it's at #2. :D

Only love can hurt like this only peaked at #9 in my chart, i love the fact it sounds like a cover of an old song but its actually a well written original song. The only part that i wasn't keen on was when Paloma sings the chorus in the higher octave, it spoilt the flow of the song for me. :( Paloma's biggest hit for me was her Sigma collaboration Changing which also topped my chart.

Also impressive seeing songs like Living for love and Real love doing incredibly well in your chart after over 30 weeks each in your top 40.

"Rebel Heart" is good, indeed but IMO one of her worst Albums.

hey there,

I was so excited to hear a new track from Calvin Harris, especially since he had great success with most of his Singles from "Motion" and his current track is definitely another great hit from him. :D
Only Love Can Hurt Like This is such an amazing track! The live Performance at this year's BRIT AWARDS blew me away.
Changing was the first Chart entry for Paloma Faith on my Charts but it just missed the Top 10 and peaked at #12 last year. But it's not because I don't like the song but because at that time I liked lots of Songs and therefore it was a lot of competition.

I think Real Love is Jess' best collaboration so far, much better than the overrated Rather Be IMO (which I still like, though). :)

IrishLamb wrote:[...]

Actually the song has spent 5 non-consecutive weeks at #2 before, so there would have been a chance in its 14th week to top the Charts (which would have meant that the record wouldn't have been broken!). :D

Great #1. I think Paloma deserves all the success she gets, she's good! :)

What a surprise to see Kelly inside the Top10! :D
"Invincible" is sooo good and so underrated. A shame it wasn't a hit for her... but i'm really glad to see her doing well on your charts with that song!
Also love the climbs for Jasmine Thompson and Major Lazer's "Powerful" :)

...and i hope the #1 debut next week will be from the Queen  8-)

Your #1 is as good as your #2 is as terrible. Seriously, though, "Only Love Can Hurt Like This" is a wonderful song. It's easily my favourite Paloma song and was among my favourite singles from last year. Glad to see it at #1!

I hope "Poison" rebounds and manages to last a few more weeks here.

Franklin’s music profoundly touched and changed the world, because over and over it offered that bridge to salvation, to freedom.

I think it was her last Chance to jump into the Top 10 probably. Next week, there's probably a debut at #1, so at least one song will fall out of the Top 10. It's underrated for sure.

JSparksFan wrote:Your #1 is as good as your #2 is as terrible. Seriously, though, "Only Love Can Hurt Like This" is a wonderful song. It's easily my favourite Paloma song and was among my favourite singles from last year. Glad to see it at #1!

I hope "Poison" rebounds and manages to last a few more weeks here.
"Only Love..." is really an amazing track, can't believe I noticed it so late!

I'm not a big fan of "Poison" tbh and I'm not into her new single, either. Somehow her collaborations (Black Widow, Doing It) manage to become hits, but her solo Songs fail to do that in my Charts.

It was a single? I really was interested in the whole 'SUCKER' era at first, but after 'Break The Rules' I lost a lot of it... I wish "Die Tonight" would have been a single after that.

Maroon 5 “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A ****” (33-30-28-26-25-23-21-*19*-23-32-39-X)

For the third week in a row there’s a brand new number #1 hit. Jess Glynne debuts at #1 with her latest smash “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself”.
This is the third time this year that a song debuts right at the top of the charts. “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself” follows Madonna’s “Living For Love” (debuted on January 16) and Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” (debuted on June 5). It’s the 21st #1 debut in this decade overall.
Jess Glynne has been atop of the charts before. “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself” actually marks her fourth #1 hit and follows “Right Here”, “Real Love” and “Hold My Hand”. This is her 13th week at #1 already.
Moreover, it is also Jess Glynne’s 6th top 10 hit (“Rather Be” and “Not Letting Go” both made it to the Top 10, too. Only “My Love missed it). Such a success year for Jess Glynne so far. Unfortunately the album was pushed back to October in Germany, so it probably won’t debut so soon here.

Calvin Harris rises into the Top 3 this week. “How Deep Is Your Love” is the first song by him to get there since “Blame” (which peaked at #1 eventually).

She’s one of the most succesul artist in my charts – although she doesn’t debut in the Top 5, Lana Del Rey makes an appearance at #10 this week with her new song “High By The Beach”. It’s actually only her fourth song to debut in the Top 10 (after “Video Games”, “Born To Die” and “Ultraviolence”).
“High By The Beach” is the 9th Top 10 hit for Lana Del Rey following “Video Games” (#1), “Born To Die” (#1), “Blue Jeans” (#7), “Summertime Sadness” (#3), “Ride” (#3), “West Coast” (#3), “Ultraviolence” (#1) and “Brooklyn Baby” (#4). It will probably climb higher in the next few weeks.

There’s quite a lot of movement in the Top 20 this week. Two songs make it there for the first time – it’s Paloma Faith’s “Can’t Rely On You” and Sigma’s “Glitterball”. Other songs have rather big drops such as Kygo’s “Stole The Show” and Sia’s “Fire Meet Gasoline”. Also Kelly Clarkson drops 5 places with “Invincible” to #14. The song would have stayed in the Top 10 a little bit longer but since this week is a very busy one in the higher part of the charts, it had to fall out after only one week there.

Also four former Top 10 hits drop off the Top 20 this week – Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money”, Jason Derulo’s “Want To Want Me”, Lena’s “Traffic Lights” and Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” all drop at least four places this week.

The third and lowest debut this week comes from Bon Jovi. Their new single “Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning” is the first song by them to chart since “Because We Can”. The latter one charted in 2013 and became a Top 10 hit for them.

Next week there will probably another three songs debuting here – one of them is a single by an artist who somehow fails to get a hit as the lead artist. Then there’s also one of the most successful hit of 2015 that will FINALLY make its debut here (I listened to it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and liked it). The third debut will probably be the new single by a successful band . . . !

Albums:

TW LW PP A P WOC
01 01 01 Madonna Rebel Heart (23)
02 04 01 Paloma Faith A Perfect Contradiction (12)
03 03 01 Taylor Swift 1989 (33)
04 02 02 Joss Stone Water For Your Soul (2)
05 05 01 Kelly Clarkson Piece By Piece (24)
06 NE 06 Owl City Mobile Orchestra (1)
07 06 01 Lana Del Rey Ultraviolence (61)
08 09 02 Florence + The Machine How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (11)
09 07 05 Jason Derulo Everything Is 4 (10)
10 08 06 Tove Lo Queen Of The Clouds (16)

“Rebel Heart” tops the charts for the 9th non-consecutive week. It’s now the longest #1 album of the year so far.
This also means that Madonna has topped the charts 23 times now overall.

Paloma Faith and Joss Stone change their position this week – Taylor Swift remains steady at #3 with her smash album “1989”.

There’s one new entry this week. Owl City debuts at #6 with the new album “Mobile Orchestra”. This is actually already his fourth Top 10 album so far. “Ocean Eyes” made it to #2 in 2010, “All Things Bright And Beautiful” debuted and peaked at #4 and his “The Midsummer Station” album peaked at #10. The album will probably not have that much of longevity since I’m not the biggest fan of it, though.

Next week, it will probably be a slow week on the album charts. As of now, there will be no new debut, although maybe an older album will make a return.
Since it is September soon, there will be a quite a few albums that I am really interested in: Bon Jovi’s “Burning Bridges”, Iron Maiden’s “The Book Of Souls”, Lana Del Rey’s “Honeymoon”, Rudimental’s “We The Generation”, Disclosure’s “Caracal”, Hurts’ “Surrender”, Labrinth’s “Take Me To The Truth” and Jess Glynne’s “I Cry When I Laugh” are all still to be released – and they probably make it high on my charts! :D

Don't Be So Hard On Yourself is such a great song, but so far her worst single. Meant to listen to her album but when I knew Carrie has a new single out, I listened to Carrie's single first, but until now, I'm still can't stop listening

My least favorite is probably "My Love" so far, from her solo Singles it is Right Here. Don't Be SO Hard On Myself is probably my fav. :D
