Tove Lo “Disco Tits” 31-28-27-24-33-36-X

Rita Ora breaks a record that was previously held by Paloma Faith. It took "Your Song" by Rita Ora 23 weeks to finally top the charts -
the previous record by Paloma Faith and her smash hit "Only Love Can Hurt Like This" is broken because the latter "only" needed 19 weeks to climb to #1 eventually.
This is already Rita Ora's second #1 on my charts , however her first as a solo artist (she topped the charts with "Coming Home", a collaboration with Sigma, in early 2016).

Hi luckyONE :D

01 02 01 Rita Ora Your Song (23)
24 28 24 Rita Ora Anywhere (2)

Wow, this is the ultimate slow burner taking almost half the year to be #1.

However, it's #24 where my interest lies. Loving Anywhere so it'll be interesting to follow the songs progress. Maybe it will also top your chart in April 2018? :P

03 17 03 Ed Sheeran Perfect (4)

Big climb for Ed Sheeran. I wasn't a fan of this song when i first heard it when ÷ was released but i'm slowly coming round to Perfect. I just think Ed's done much better ballads in the past especially Thinking out loud.

Other favourites are:

02 01 01 Taylor Swift Look What You Made Me Do (11)
04 03 01 P!nk What About Us (13)
06 05 04 Imagine Dragons Whatever It Takes (9)
07 06 05 Coldplay Miracles (Someone Special) (ft. Big Sean) (9)
08 12 08 Lana Del Rey Summer Bummer (ft. A$AP Rocky & Playboy Carti) (11)
09 07 04 Ed Sheeran Castle On The Hill (15)
10 08 04 Charli XCX Boys (12)
11 10 01 Shakira Me Enamore (30)
12 14 12 Paloma Faith Crybaby (8)
14 11 01 DJ Khaled Wild Thoughts (ft. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller) (17)
15 13 01 Anne-Marie Ciao Adios (34)
16 16 16 Lorde Homemade Dynamite (6)
19 21 19 Shania Twain Life’s About To Get Good (5)
21 20 01 Imagine Dragons Thunder (27)
22 15 09 Lorde Perfect Places (13)
27 29 27 Avicii Lonely Together (ft. Rita Ora) (3)
28 NE 28 Selena Gomez Wolves (ft. Marshmello) (1)
31 27 22 ZAYN Dusk Till Dawn (ft. SIA) (6)
32 32 01 Clean Bandit Symphony (ft. Zara Larsson) (29)
34 24 17 Selena Gomez Fetish (ft. Gucci Mane) (12)
36 31 21 Maroon 5 What Lovers Do (ft. SZA) (9)
40 40 01 The Chainsmokers Something Just Like This (ft. Coldplay) (34)

That's what I call bad luck! One week prior the realease of Taylor's upcoming album, the lead single drops :D

Personally, I am happy for Selena doing so well on Ukmixers' charts but I dislike "Wolves". To me, it sounds like an Avicii-leftover which should have stayed in 2012.
I love the massive jump for Ed! He's underrated on Ukmix and doesn't deserve all the hate he receives.

well, dropping doesN't mean not being able to climb back and VERY soon, the second single off 'reputation' will enter the charts... 8-)
"PERFECT" is just so beautiful! probably could become my fav Ed Sheeran song. :o
but it's the same case as it is with Taylor, really - once you are succesful and sell lots of records, there are also lots of jealous haters. hope he wins Album Of The Year at the Grammys 2018. I really do (and i don't even care for the album as a whole).

actually, i am not feeling "anywhere" as much as i do "your song". it could probably end up becoming a Top 10 hit though. :) but we'll see, what happens in spring 2018.
i must admit i am not into much ed sheerans song (and i "thinking out loud" never grew on me), so i was actually pretty surprised how much i like "perfect". :D

Taylor continues with her slayage - congrats! :o
"...Ready For It?" is definitely another good song from her and i really enjoyed it when she released it as a promo single, however i got over it rather quickly, only for it to grow back on me now since the album came out. Speaking about the album... i think it's a safe bet to see her at #1 soon with "Reputation" on your charts 8-)

Nice to see "Your Song" being such a hit, and i hope "Anywhere" will follow soon :)

Absolutely love the debut for "Only You" this week. This has been one of my favorite songs when it comes to Zara's album, and that Nena collaboration works really well too. Their live performance was so strong, i had no idea Nena was such a good live singer

Taylor indeed continues smashing your charts and it's well-deserved.
I don't agree with Tansike that "Ready For It?" is something you can get over very quickly. It's such a tune and one of the highlights of her album.
I do not regret that I bought her album but I was expecting something bigger, tbh. It's a collection of well-produced, well-thought arrangements and cute and little melodies but I was expecting some tracks which are more shocking or thought-provoking or experimental like "Look What You Made Me Do" somehow.
Anyway, great record.

Sam Smith's album is sooooooooooo effing amazing. It deserves to rise next week. Hopefully, I am not mistaken when it comes to your next update!

i mean i bought the Album three times already, i am more than obsessed with her. this was an Album release i was really looking Forward to (probably my most anticipated Album of the year) and it's so good. not as instant as her other Albums are but kinda classic Taylor (lyrics-wise), and not as "provoking" as the lead single. "Gorgeous" and "king of my heart" are my favorite Songs from the Album, they would Sound amazing in guitar-driven melodies aswell. i hope the rumour for the platinum Edition of "Reputation" is true (which is to be said to be released in january 18).

i am not really Feeling "the thrill of it all" tbh. if the Album was full of "restart"'s (his best song), i'd probably stan, though.

it's probably no surprise when taylor hits #1 with her new Album here, too. it's actually good times for Album Charts again, as P!nk is one of the biggest Artist on my Album Charts and Taylor Swift is on her way, too. It will be a tough fight between them in the upcoming weeks. :D

I haven't gotten around to hearing anything other than the four promo singles from Reputation, but "...Ready for It?" is definitely my favourite of the songs I've heard thus far. Great to see it at #1 here!

The rest of the chart is pretty fantastic, too: "Perfect," "Love So Soft," "Whatever It Takes," "Summer Bummer," and "Symphony" would all rank among my favourite songs this year.

Oh, how come? :o Hope you get to hear "reputation" very soon, it's probably my favorite album of 2017!
From the songs that were released prior to the album, I think I'd rank them like this: GORGEOUS > Look What You Made Me Do >>> ... Ready For It? >>> Call It What You Want
If "Gorgeous" was a real single, It'd have great chances to top my charts for 10+weeks! :)

Glad you like so many songs, from the one's mentioned I think "Perfect" is my favorite. Ed Sheeran really delivers with this one. 8-)
