Longest running number one
1. 14 weeks.
"Telephone" by Lady Gaga & Beyonce (November 14 - December 5, 2009 & March 6 - April 24, 2010 & May 22 - June 5, 2010)
2. 9 weeks.
"Countdown" by Beyonce (October 8, 2010 & November 12 - December 31, 2010)
"Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake (February 17 - April 14, 2013)
3. 8 weeks.
"Battlefield" by Jordin Sparks (May 16 - June 20, 2009 & August 1 - 15, 2009)
"Love On Top" by Beyonce (January 7 - February 11, 2012 & March 3, 2012 & April 28, 2012)

I can't believe I used to stan for "Telephone". That song is annoying to me now.

LOL at this topic!

In the 90s, when I was a teenager I had my weekly chart. It lasted like 10 years... at some point I had a whole HOT 100 :o

I remember that the song with most weeks at #1 was:
MARIAH CAREY & BOYZ II MEN One sweet day - 13 weeks (I know, very influenced by Billboard LOL!)

The song that spent the most in the Top 40 was:
SNAP Rhythm is a dance - 32 weeks

The songs with most weeks in the Hot 100:
UB40 Can't help falling in love - 40 weeks

MADONNA, MARIAH & JANET were tied with the "Most number ones" title: 12 each.
