OMG HI! I thought I'd do a random chart on the side of some of my favourite tunes.

Imma chart songs alphabetically (with a maximum of 20 songs per letter). Obviously I'll do less for Q, etc.

Feel free to bask in my brilliant music taste by commenting/critizing these songs! 8-)

Naturally, let’s start things off with A. In here we have a mixed bunch of songs, ranging from 1975 to 2009, from Disney musicals to TV show pieces.

Great presentation :D

"All By Myself" is epic; "All Out Of Love", "All Rise", "About You Now" and "Ain' Nobody" are all nice.

definitely a cute countdown idea! though I suppose it shouldn't come as such a surprise, considering the cuteness of the poster who thought of it... ;)

flattery aside, there's only a couple..well, one...song in that first group that I'm quite fond of: "About You Now". I absolutely loved Aladdin as a kid, but I never really listen to Disney movie music much anymore, although "A Whole New World" is undoubtedly one of their finest. "ABC" is an undenibale classic, I just don't listen to the Jackson 5 much either (it's their little sister that I adore). <3

Awesome layout! My favorite out of this bunch is About You Now, probably my favorite Sugababes single to date! :D

Hmm...This sounds familiar.

You've got a good batch of "A's" though! "A Whole New World" and "ABC" are Disney and Motown classics, respectively.

Admittedly, I've never checked out the original version of "All By Myself". Céline sorta killed it and I doubted anyone else could have ever done justice to that power ballad.

Nah, the thread starter is too irrelevant for me to copy.

Looking forward to this.

My favourite is actually Sugababes. Pop masterpiece - one of my favourite pop songs ever.

Obviously, love Killers too.

Jacksons, Air Supply & Chaka Khan are other highlights.

I love "Alone" by Heart, it's one of my favourite songs from the 80s! "Another One Bites The Dust" is another great tune.

"Alone" is a timeless classic and "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" was a monster, masterclass vocal performance from J-Hud.

Nice idea, hopefully you'll have more patience than I as those can be so tedious to make.

hmmm...I was expecting to see more songs that I really truly love in this countdown, but that hasn't been happening so far :-? Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" and Journey's "Any Way You Want It" are both lovely classics, but I can't say I'm a MASSIVE fan of either of them.

where's some more recent songs, Pete? I've got nothing against older stuff, of course, but I was definitely expecting more current (00's) songs too. maybe I'm just disappointed that I apparently don't know your taste as well as I thought I did.

I think it's mainly because I did a 2000s countdown a couple of years ago, so this one will be pre-millenium orientated. There will be some newer songs in there, but only the creme de la creme.

"Back To Black" is the best Amy Winehouse song IMO :D.

"Bad" and "Bat Out Of Hell" are undisputable classics.

"Bad Romance" is great, only the "Rah rah ah-ah-ah! Ro mah ro-mah-mah" is very annoying!

I love "Behind These Hazel Eyes" and I hate "Because You Loved Me".

Back to Black - Amy's 2nd best song after You Know I'm No Good. Love it to death! :D

Bad - Again, one of Michael's best. I love the attitude of the song.

Bad Romance - Epic. EPIC. EPIC! My favorite Gaga song and one of my favorites of all time. <3 :D

Beautiful - Liked it, but it has been soooo overplayed at the time that I started to hate it, I still can't listen to it.

Behind These Hazel Eyes - Good song, but Kelly had a lot better!

Beware of the Dog - A great song, probably Jamelia's best to date.

"Back To Black", "Bad", "Bad Romance", "Beautiful", "Because You Loved Me", and "Behind These Hazel Eyes" are some of my all-time favourites!

ah, now we've got a group with some stuff that I really love! :D

"Back To Black" = I'm not familiar with a lot of Amy's material, but from what I have heard, this is probably my favorite (and not just because of Glee). ;)

"Bad Romance" = epic, obviously. I imagine this will be remembered as Gaga's signature tune, and rightfully so. I remember playing it at one of our house parties senior year and EVERYONE sang along to the "rah rah, ah ah ah" bits. epic. <3

"Behind These Hazel Eyes" = great song. not quite my favorite Breakaway single, but it's pretty tough to compete with "Since U Been Gone".

"Beautiful" and "Because You Loved Me" deserve a shout-out too!

Great bunch...

'Back To Black' is my favourite...

'Bad' is a classic, as is 'Bat Out Of Hell'.

Celine, Christina & GaGa are great too.
