I can't vote cause I like no songs, or I don't know them! I'll be following this though.

I think that "Anything Could Happen" and "One More Night" have great chances to be your #1 of 2012.

I went with "One More Night" mainly because it's my favourite of the poll options than anything else. I hope it isn't one of those that didn't make the Top 100.

The year end countdowns have started! 8-)

I know you love Two Door Cinema Club, but 'Sleep Alone' isn't their best and I don't think it'll be your #1. I don't think it's Rita Ora, Marina or No Doubt either. Ellie and Bruno are contenders, but I can see them missing out on the top spot.

I'm not sure about Tyler James and Aiden Grimshaw. Can't see Aiden getting the #1, but Tyler is a possibility. Maroon 5 are very possible winners, but I think they'll just miss out.

It's originally thought it Alexandra, The Arctic Monkeys and The Saturdays for me. '30 Days' is far from The Sats' strongest, so I don;t think it's them. I'm hoping you throw us a curveball and 'R U Mine?' is #1, so I'm voting for that in the poll.

I went for the Arctic Monkeys for this. Maroon 5, Tyler, Aiden and The Sats are all great songs too (though the latter have had better). Looking forward to this!

I'm hopeless at this....and I can't make a clear choice when it comes to the poll, so I'll refrain from voting. :P
Let's embrace the point of no return.

But there is a whole month till the end of 2012! What if there are released some great tracks which you fall in love with and then regret that you didn`t put them in your year-end countdown!? :-? :D

I don`t know your music taste, so I`ll vote for my most favorite song, but from I see, there are some very good tunes like "Locked Out of Heaven", "Settle Down", "One More Night and "R.I.P."!

Well we have the release schedule til the end of the year, and I go by release date, so the likelihood is that if it premieres now, it won't be out until January. Of course there are exceptions but I've done it this way for years!

Starting tonight, please vote! :D

You've quite a nice taste in music, I reckon I'll like quite a bit of your countdown!

That being said, I have no idea who your #1 will be.

Thank for for your comments and predictions and particularly to urbanmusik for that cracking little breakdown!

Let us begin!

100. Rita Ora ft. Tinie Tempah - RIP
Well the first of our poll options leave us instantly  So sorry to Wayne and Mike who thought this would come out on top! Good guessing  This is one of those songs that is great to sing along to on a night out but standalone not quite so brilliant. I think Tinie's rap is genius and the best thing about the song, especially 'Sexy SenoRITA, I feel your ORA', but I do feel like Rita is working her way through a demo at times. Still, a radio mainstay and a very decent debut.

10. Pass Out (ft LABRINTH) (2010)
63. Hitz (with CHASE & STATUS) (2011)
78. Earthquake (with LABRINTH) (2011)
86. Til I’m Gone ( ft. Wiz KHALIFA) (2011)
100. RIP (with Rita ORA) (2012)
099. Train - Drive By
Train rack up their second appearance in the chart, both in the lower end but then top 100 is no mean feat right? Catchy, very very radio friendly and like the slightly more upbeat older brother of 'Hey, Soul Sister', it's no surprise that Drive By as a longstaying hit for them and features on multiple year and charts already.

91. Hey, Soul Sister (2010)
99. Drive By (2012)
098. The Vaccines - Teenage Icon
The Vaccines are no stranger to appearing around this point of my chart. I find with them that they are very consistent, and their songs are always solid and therefore sniffing around my year end chart, but don't necessarily blow me away like some other indie songs do. However, catchy chorus - check, and a great opening verse section - check check check. You definitely know you're listening to something really interesting from the word go!

76. If You Wanna (2011)
93. Norgaard (2011)
98. Teenage Icon (2012)
097. Delta Goodrem - Dancing With A Broken Heart
Delta makes her first appearance in the chart for an absolutely whopping seven years! When I first heard this song I must admit I was underwhelmed, but when I listened to the album in full, it totally stood out and it struck me just how amazing the verses are. Melodically so strong and really pull the song up, if only the chorus packed as much of a punch!

40. Innocent Eyes (2003)
46. Not Me, Not I (2003)
51. Lost Without You (2003)
66. Almost Here (with Brian McFADDEN) (2005)
75. Out Of The Blue (2004)
97. Dancing With A Broken Heart (2012)
096. Emeli Sande - Next To Me
Another hit for Emeli in my 2012 chart but it's not nearly as high up as the brilliant 'Heaven' was last year. It's been a killer year for her though so I'm sure she can cope without a hit on my chart eh! Next To Me is a cracker of a song, though it's probably fresher on first listen than 700th. Definitely a good one for singalong times at a stadium gig or festival though!

30. Heaven (2011)
96. Next To Me (2012)
095. Madonna ft. Nicki Minaj & MIA - Give Me All Your Luvin'
Now this one might be a surprise. It's probably not a secret that I am not by any means a Madonna fan, in fact I go as far as to say often that I hate her. But even I can't deny the charm of this track, with it's catchy cheerleader chanting and journey through the genres - pop and rap and MIA's combination drawl. I have to appreciate when a good pop song is a good pop song artist regardless, and this is one of MDNA's finest.

95. Give Me All Your Luvin’ (ft. Nicki MINAJ & MIA) (2012)
98. Me Against The Music (with Britney SPEARS) (2003)
20. Paper Planes (2008)
80.XXXO ( ft. JAY-Z ) (2010)
95. Give Me All Your Luvin (with MADONNA and Nicki MINAJ) (2012)
094. One Direction - One Thing
One Direction's first hit on the chart. I find it hard to believe that when What Makes You Beautiful came out I didn't rate it, or them. Now I think they are quality, a total guilty pleasure. Apart from Niall, who I'm not guilty about at all. Speaking of him, this was their first record that showcased a share of the vocals which I really appreciated, and while a bit of a rehash of the first single, I actually prefer it!

093. Maximo Park - Hips and Lips
Maximo are one of my favourite bands and have been scoring hits on my chart for 5 years now, when they topped the chart with my favourite song ever. They don't reach those heights this time but they do have another to add to their list with the exciting 'Hips and Lips'. The verses are very sombre but the 'you're a puzzle to me' refrain builds and builds into a frenetic chorus. A decent album lead.

01. Our Velocity (2007)
13. Books From Boxes (2007)
71. Let’s Get Clinical (2009)
82. Girls Who Play Guitars (2007)
93. Hips and Lips (2012)
94. Karaoke Plays (2007)
092. Maroon 5 ft. Wiz Khalifa - Payphone
Maroon 5 as I remember noting last year never seem to do as well on my year and charts as the amount I love them overall as a group, perhaps because their singles aren't the best songs on their records. That is again true for Payphone. I remember liking it on first listen and thinking it was a cool new direction, both of which are still true now, but it's just not a Maroon 5 classic to me. That said, the bridge part 'I wasted my nights' is very cool and the chorus will be sungalong to for years. A decent comeback that did well for them but not a favourite for me, will One More Night be the one to go all the way for them?

42. Never Gonna Leave This Bed (2011)
51. Moves Like Jagger ( ft. Christina AGUILERA) (2011)
61. Harder To Breathe (2004)
67. Give A Little More (2010)
87. Makes Me Wonder (2007)
92. Payphone (ft. Wiz KHALIFA) (2012)
94. This Love (2004)
86. Til I’m Gone (with Tinie TEMPAH) (2011)
92. Payphone (with MAROON 5) (2012)
091. The Script ft. Will.I.Am - Hall of Fame
This one is a bit like te Maroon 5 one really. A very decent song, but one that seemed designed to be a hit (both calling in a rapper to help appeal) as opposed to being just naturally brilliant. As a result it's probably the least Script-like of all the Script songs so far. I did like it on first listen as well though, and the Script only version is even more preferable. A very wise choice in terms of radio play which has showed in it's longevity, but at the expense of being a classic Script number.

19. Science & Faith (2011)
61. If You Ever Come Back (2011)
73. Breakeven (2008)
91. Hall of Fame (ft. WILL.I,AM) (2012)
94. For The First Time (2010)
18. Beep (with PUSSYCAT DOLLS) (2006)
30. Wait A Minute (Just A Touch) (with ESTELLE) (2007)
91. Hall of Fame (with The SCRIPT) (2012)

"R.I.P.", "Give Me All Your Luvin`" and "Payphone" are amazing songs! My favorite of them is of course "Give Me All Your Luvin`" - one of the best and most memorable songs of the first quarter of 2012! :D It`s pretty underrated in UKmix but I love it and reminds me of Madonna`s epic performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show! :)

Nice to see that those PCD gems - "PCD" and "Wait A Minute" topped your chart in 2006 and 2007! :o Love it!! 8-)
