Post your favourite TED Talks.

This is a good one by Mark Ronson on sampling and originality, and the evolution of La Di Da Di. Very poignant with the whole Pharrell plagiarism saga going on Right Now.

How to sound smart

This is probably one of my favorites when I saw this over a month ago. I also referenced it when I discussed about presentation at work because we deal with a lot of figures and all that. What I like most is that all the crap I heard in my lifetime is well articulated in this video.

Both of those were enjoyable. Good to have shorter ones like these, never got into them before because they are usually so long.

I enjoyed this one recently, it’s true that too many people are doing things they don’t want to do. We need to stop being people pleasers!

This is really good advice for people who always say yes to everything even though it makes them unhappy and they don't want to do these things at all.

However for people like me who are innately the "I don't give a f*ck" type and say no to everything they don't want to do this is bad advice. Sometimes you don't want to do something but you force yourself and it ends up being one of the best things you ever did or one of the best parties you ever went. You end up missing a lot of stuff if you say no to everything that might seem unpleasing.

I never thought of someone in a wheelchair as having freedom, but that is one of the perspectives I gained out of this TED talk:
