The film industry is smart. Although films are streamed, most still are released and marketed the traditional way. Now it's common for multiple films to reach $1 billion per year.
How can you conpare a industry based 99% on the real life experience of a cinema and great sound quality etc (not possible at home) to a music industry where playi g CD has no difference to listening to an mp3 plus it's waay mkre portable? Apples and oranges tbh
Until it becomes a standard to have a xinema like experience at your own home and with some futuristic technology, films ain't going nowhere.
