After failig to attend enough classes last semester (cuz it was an 9am lecture lol), Im back!!

Lemme complain. Writing is kinda difficult. Like I get the rules and all, but open vowels, writtig them double, plurals etc are a bit mess and it will take time before it feels natural to write without thinki g too much. I think my Dutch proffesor (even tho shes Belgian, but teaches us NL Dutch) is the best language proffesor I ever had and will have, as we straight up focus on how people actually talk and write and not just dry, propper grammar etc, it is a bit difficult to have all the difference between stressed and unstressed version of pronouns and remeber all the pronunciation merginf going on.

Jij/je
Zij/ze
Hij being read as ee in certain cases
Haar turnig to hrr
Hun turnig to 'n
etc.

I find Dutch to be very fascinatig tho. That's what got me tbh. It's very unique and beautiul, don't get the hate. Hard G all the way, tho my throat is not used to it just yet. but already used yo it enough to not be able to pronounce is as just H sound.

Ik hou van Nederlands, maar ik moet nog veel leren.

Would be awesome to meet some native speakers tho so I can get used to speakig it, strangely I'm kinda shy to speak Dutch. but I try to speak to myself in Dutch every day when possible, ie with my cat.

Wat Image too much tbh, the only language I know where there's a correct spoken version of something, but not at all allowed in written form.

^ Most Dutch people don't even know this and always use "hun".

Maybe it’s different in Flanders, but most people try to use it in the correct form over here (written and oral).
