There is a painfully obvious use of sampling here, in fact so obvious, Bulgarians thank Sagi Abitbul for fiddling around with their traditional music in the comments.

In fact Sagi Abitbul wasn't the first one to tamper with the same sample either.

I'll be adding a poll soon, but if Nanda wishes to change the entry, that's more than welcome too.

Lol seriously?!!

I knew it was using a sample of old bulgarian folklore tune and I was not trying to get away with it but I don't really see a point here to ban something that never charted anywhere in the world and most importantly an old traditional song.

I agree to ban the songs if it samples big charting hits etc etc but old bulgarian folklore song?

No need for poll, I'll just be out and actually for good...so many good songs are being prevented to enter and it kills all the excitement of this contest for me.

This is not real Eurovision folks, and idea was to enter something original so that it will be a discovery for most of you, while Usher get's away with it!!!

I think it's about time a poll or at least a discussion is opened on relaxing unnecessary rules in general (that's a strictly personal opinion which shouldn't surprise or annoy anyone, I have said it many times before)

Sorry, it seems like every other month there's someone who suddenly remembers that a certain rule should be revised or is unnecessary or restrictive or whatever applies to the song they've chosen, and then remains silent the remaining time - well ok, apart from jio who moans almost every month :p
Enough with the talking, let's get on with the playing.

Lol indeed (maybe I am getting older after all lol)

On second reading of your sentence: do you actually consider me not being silent the remaining time as a good thing ? lol :o :o :o

Voted... not as good as last month but still 11 songs made the final cut, one had to stay off my top 10 unfortunately and that was a song that I originally thought it would be pretty high on my list but I liked it less with every subsequent listen. Then there was another song (that didn't make my Top 11) that had awesome verses but the chorus completely destroyed it for me. Other than that it was a pretty average month but everything in my Top 10 is pretty solid IMO (and my winner was clear from very first listen, no question about it).

In the past two or three contests, there were two countries fighting for the top spot - at least that's how it looked like during the voting process.
This pattern seems to continue so far.
Keep voting!

Someone just sent me a message informing me that Finland is actually not a part of Scandinavia. You learn something new every day!

Well, yes it is not on the Scandinavian peninsula (like Sweden and Norway), and it does not use a scandinavian language (like Denmark and Iceland) so theoretically it's not in Scandinavia... then again is Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Cyprus in Europe? Is Slovenia in the Balkans? Is even Greece in the Balkans or on its own peninsula? Is Andorra on the Iberian peninsula?... are we really where we think we are or are we somewhere else completely? is there an alternative reality? are we alone in the universe? All questions to consider...
