Really excited to discover some of these - if they go far enough for the songs to be used!

Legends
1. Metallica - One (Their breakthrough song from the one album that stepped ahead in sound and set them apart from the other speed rock bands stuck in time past)
2. Sam Cooke - Shake (Luscious production and sound that fused rock and soul. A pioneer, a fighter, the ultimate icon that seems to be forgotten about. He's the epitome of Soul; all the singers that came after him should pay him credit)
3. Neil Diamond - I Am... I Said (This is so epic. His vocals are just genius, so sublime. This is music that will live on forever)
4. The Velvet Underground - Venus in Furs (This is a gem. Decades ahead of its time and a finer moment of Lou Reed. Never issued as a single but one of the defining songs of its era and the ones that followed)
5. Blondie - Call Me (I really do like Debbie Harry and her art. In such a tight race of great songs this falls behind; and its overexposure and the (now) dated Moroder sound have left some marks of wear. Still a better song from a respectable band)
6. Michael Jackson - Remember the Time (Perfect example of delusional regurgitations of a megalomaniac. It's just too much of this, and of that; of everything and anything. Less is more and modesty is a virtue. This sound belongs tied and locked away in the dungeons of the musical history (Throw away the keys). Thanks, but no, thanks)

Underground
1. Chris Stapleton - Traveller (Best of the bunch; ...by far. Pristine voice and vocal mastering. Great production. The soundtrack to eternity)
2. A Fine Frenzy - Hope for the Hopeless (Lovely track for the desperate and the lonely. Good balance of song writing, production and delivery)
3. Within Temptation - Stand My Ground (Liked this quite a bit. It's a tad too formulaic and reminiscent of Scandinavian goth rock/operatic acts. The dramatic staging and production is a bit off-putting)
4. Regina Spektor - Ghost of Corporate Future ([Hello, Carbon! ] Great alternative act; always good to put a smile on your face. The lyrics and the stories she tells are fantastic; her singing style is what has her loose points here)
5. Glennis Grace - This is My Voice (This is a very, very safe song. Obviously, she can sing but the song doesn't stand out; although I don't dislike it)
6. NAO - Bad Blood (Oh, well! Is this electro-alternative-RnB? A bit erratic and the vocal distortions are an absolute turn-off for me)

Underground group >>>>>>>>>>> Legends group

looking forward to hearing more from the former, and the other will have to be the price I pay

Legends
1. Neil Diamond - I Am... I Said (nice nice)
2. The Velvet Underground - Venus in Furs (good)
3. Blondie - Call Me (overplayed like a lot of their singles, but ok)
4. Sam Cooke - Shake (ok as well)
5. Metallica - One (don't like)
6. Michael Jackson - Remember the Time (big fat no for me)

Underground
1. Regina Spektor - Ghost of Corporate Future (love the songwriting)
2. Within Temptation - Stand My Ground (have a soft spot for some of WT's singles, including this one)
3. NAO - Bad Blood (interesting!)

5. A Fine Frenzy - Hope for the Hopeless (don't know why, but her delivery doesn't convince me... something is missing for me)
6. Glennis Grace - This is My Voice (not my thing, a bit too safe)

It was not released as a commercial single. It's the flip-side to Shake. Both tracks were released posthumously with A Change Is Gonna Come charting as a B-Side, only. Although, sources suggest that a heavily re-worked and edited version was planned to be released prior to his death.
