Just bought this yesterday, and i love it! its way ahead of its time IMO. Which is all down to the majority of the Timbaland production. Im feel really bad that i wasnt a fan when she was still alive. GO AALIYAH!

My Fave track is If Ur Girl Only Knew
i dont like the original version of Got To Give It Up much tho!

Just O-M-G :o

One of my favourite albums of all time. So many great tracks to choose from:

One In A Million
Got To Give It Up
If Your Girl Only Knew
Hot Like Fire
4 Page Letter
and of course the classic One I Gave My Heart To even if her vocal is poor on the album version - listen to the single mix, she sings it 100000000 times better :D
Can't make decisions, I could use some more distractions today..

I think "One In A Million" would have to be her best album, but I liked "Aaliyah" more (if that makes sense...)

AANBAN def isnt her best album!
its good but it sounds like a lot of music from that era...theres not that much individuality about it

OIAM is my favorite...the feel of it is great...almost every song is wicked...the timbaland and missy involvement made it great. And if ur girl onbly knew is my favorite aaliyah song ever

AALIYAH is good...but some tracks are a lil TOO different for me..for example i cant stand loose rap and what if on that album...my favs are WNAR, never no more and i care 4 u

LOL. And I love "Loose Rap" but am not overly keen on "I Care 4 U". Also love "Extra Smooth" on the Aaliyah album. I'm torn between "OIAM" and "Aaliyah" as her best album...

My favourite on the Aaliyah album is I REFUSE. Such an amazing song :o

Still can't beat The One I Gave My Heart To. I was just listening to a live version of it, she had such an amazing voice. Shame she didn't use it to it's full potential in a way, but I guess she didn't need to do that to make great music.

:o She sang Journey To The Past at the Oscars?

Anyway, I don't think she held back on the Aaliyah album its jsut that she never "over sung" like some singers out there... *cough* Christina

Ohhhhhhh yeeeeahh  LOL - whatever - she really belted that song out and she was so young...I wasnt critisising her. But ive seen some reviews that say that - I think its just cos of people like Beyonce etc...that when people see a black female singer they expect some crazy screeching adlibs. Which is what made her so different

I like her first album as well it's my second favorite album of hers. One In A million tops. The Aaliyah album was too pop for me. I didn't like it as much as Age.... and One In a mILLION.
Favorite new shows this fall season '06

1. Heroes
2. Ugly Betty
3. Six Degrees

Ive never got round to buying her first album...I think I will if I see it goin cheap-ish somewhere. I doubt i'll like it as much as her other stuff - but it'd be nice to own all her albums anyway...imma do that with TLC too - I only dont have their first album. I wasn't into RnB back then :-?

I have albums #2 and #3!I'd love to buy Age Ain't Nothin' But A Number and I Care 4 U.The ones I own are just so amazing. It shows her going from strength to strength and her sound is so original and authentic. On her Aaliyah album, she pays more attention to more subtle and outspoken singing, unlike Christina who ruins some of her songs by screaming and oversinging!Plus she's a bit clichéd and nothing totally new.
