Genre: Acid house, Soul, IDM, experimental rock
Country: United Kingdom
Released: March, 1990
Label: MCA
One of the better and relatively surprising UK#1 singles. This was released back in the heyday of acid house.
The extended version sounds like an industrialized version of acid house, by the way.

What's more surprising is that so far this is the only Seal's UK#1 single (and one of his most experimental vocal performances ever).

Such a great song :)
I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

What adds to its greatness is that it doesn't remotely sound anything like a #1 single (even at the time). Let alone spending the whole month at the top in the United Kingdom (the very volatile chart back in the day).

What's your favourite version of ''Killer''?
This one, Seal's solo version, George Michael's one or one of the various remixes?
I personally think this one is the best.

^ Yep the original is the best for sure.

My older brother was good friends with Adamski's older brother, they were in a band together before Adamski's chart success.

You can't deny how iconic those opening bars are of this song - so many TV shows use it as a soundtrack to the early 90s as everybody associates this track with the acid house era. It's a shame Adamski had a limited commercial career.

British TV cut the song in pieces and used both the intro, the "chorus" and the acid house mid 8 (especially football shows for the goals compilations).
