Couldn't agree more... 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi - Stop!

A superb album all round, my top 5 favourite tracks so far are:

1. Long Time Coming
2. Ghetto
3. Didn't I
4. Don't Speak
5. Soul Food

Music, Prayer and the cover of Change Is Gonna Come are all great too though, a superb album on the whole if you ask me :D

I didn’t know the album was out so soon, its only been a couple of weeks that I first heard her name. I heard a tiny clip of Don’t Speak. Good on her for tackling such a classic – but it’s a big power ballad rock song, do these suit R&B singers?

Don't Speak actually is the only song I don't like on this album, I'm not sure why she did it but I hope to god she does not release it as a single cos that would take away her edge I feel
I cant believe Krowlands album aint out till next year, what a bummer

Leela just released "My Joy" the second single from the album. I must admit, I find it a tad bit more listenable then her first single. The video is nice as well

I don't own this album, but I downloaded My Joy, that song is really good and it genuinely sounds like its 30/40 years old....such a nice traditional soul ballad :)

Well I've heard a lot of good things about Leela, so I decided to listen to some stuff on her website and her voice sounded AWESOME, I then saw her album in the Music Zone sale for £6.97 and couldn't resist any longer! I'm just listening to her album for the first time - loving what I'm hearing so far - she's very underrated!
