Never understood the love for Forbidden Love. It’s my least favourite song actually.

No way! You must be confused with the Bedtime Stories song. 8-)

No! :o The Forbidden Love from Bedtime Stories is one of her most underrated tracks... so sultry and seductive, so inviting and lush. 8-)

Yes. This should've been released instead of 'Jump'. It's so good!

I think Jump is spectacular and I feel like it's more radio friendly than Forbidden Love. I could listen to Jump a million times. Classic Madonna to me.

I agree. I think she picked the right 4 singles actually. I’m not convinced the album had a 5th single on it.

I don't think there were any more obvious hits on the album after the singles and Forbidden Love. However, a Forbidden Love release not seeing the light of day will always be a mistake to me. I don't think it should've been issued as a substitute for any of the released singles, though.

I also think the 4 singles were the right choices. However I do think "Forbidden love" was screaming 5th and final single release. At some point I was almost sure it was going to be a single towards the end of the era.
Britney Spears . Michael Jackson . Madonna . U2 . Radiohead . Lenny Kravitz . Led Zeppelin . Daft Punk . Oasis . Eminem . Metallica . Soda Stereo

If I remember correctly, Push was being touted as the 5th single for the US market.

I love "Push", but it wasn't really single material.

"Forbidden love" was IMO the only other single-material song left on the album perhaps followed by "I love New York" and thats it.

If there was going to be a 5th single I could only see LION working, complete with Adam, Eve and a naughty snake video.

Jump is the second-best song on this album!

It really is a masterclass in dance/pop from beginning to end.

In my opinion there were still some songs left to be singles:

Forbidden Love
Let It Will Be
Future Lovers

I mean...could this be any more perfect? 8-)

I love how she basically put the whole album onto stage with Confessions Tour (bar How High and Push) and it was done in such a majestic way <3

Push would be the first song I'd eliminate in one of those ukmix games for COADF. I love the production, but I find the lyrics cringe at times, and I don't like the vocal arrangement. It's off-putting and almost grating to me.

yes she did it so great :)

and Push was always one of my favourites. After Hung Up I thought it will be the second single cause it was played on radio  so it even entered my personal charts

Push always sounded to me like a song I heard and can't remember the name. Anyone feeling the same ?

The worst song of the era released exclusively to her fans (it was ‘gifted’ to members of her fan club). Go figure

My favourite outtake is Trigging:
