I saw this on a forum but am not sure of its original source:

Kelis has just completed work on her 3rd studio album.

The album, entitled "Badaboom", features collaborations with Pharrell Williams and husband Nas.

The LP, which took 8 months to record features the forthcoming single, "Bossy", and also features a song originally recorded by Irish singer Samantha Mumba called, "Put Your Money On Me", which has been given a re-working by R'n'B producer LA Reid.

The full tracklisting is as follows;

1. Bossy
2. Talkin' Mad (featuring Pharrell Williams)
3. Badaboom
4. Tonight
5. Forget It
6. Fool
7. Blue Movie [In Public Part 2] (featuring Nas)
8. So Crazy
9. Put Your Money On Me
10. Getting Closer
11. Hey Fellas
12. Playing With Fire

Aside from working hard on a brand new album, Kelis has also found the time to write her very own cook book which will be hitting the bookstores soon.

If that's not enough to wet the appetite of her fans, the 'Milkshake' star has also been designing her own line of fashion assessories
:D 8-) :D

Woo, can't wait. :D
I know there’s a blue horizon
Somewhere up ahead just waiting for me
But getting there means leaving things behind

Did she work with Raphael Saadiq this time? I think I read that somewhere...I hope she did because if the rest of the album is like Bossy, then that would make a really awful album...can't believe she included a Samantha Mumba cast-off, thats definitely low :o

For some reason I don't think Kelis will ever be able to top the Tasty album

Wow! I love the title lol..

I'm loving Bossy as well! A strange, but really addictive little song. Don't think it'll do really well, but I like it. The beat's kind of playful, but seductive at the same time..

Can't wait for this album. Tasty was a really good album.. I'm especially looking to "In Public Part 2," if that tracklisting is correct (which it probably isn't). I love that song, and the 1st In Public was very well received.

I would'nt get my hopes up people, this tracklist seems to have originated from nowhere (some dude made it up on the Britney board LMAO). The presence of Pharrell makes me a bit dubious considering Kelis is on the Jive label, and Pharrell refuses to touch anyone on that label (yes, even Justin), and also theres that infamous 'spat'.....

Rumours are circulating saying the album is due for Jan 17th-ish, but the promotional band wagon wouldve started already had this been the case. I doubt the album name will be 'BAD-aboom', considering 'Tasty' went through 4 name changes prior to it's release and ALOT of the tracks for Tasty were cut and remein unreleased to this day.

For this album, Kelis HAS worked with Raphael again, it was reported a few months back on Pookieentertainment.com. She has also worked with Basement jaxx too as far as im aware, plus the dudes who produced Pretty Rickys album (i forget their name). Bangladeshe produced 'Bossy' which is still uncertain to be the first single or not. Personally i think the track is a great comeback for kelis - the statement says it all, any Kelis fan will understand where shes coming from and how her lyrics relate to her career thus far! Plus, the presence of Mr.Nasty himself Too $hort is such an odd pairing it's great!

I think the album will top 'Tasty' but its got a loooong way to go to better 'Kaleidoscope' imho.

Stay High :D

They produced 5 tracks from the album...how is that too much?? Dalls Austin, Rapheal Saadiq, |Andre 300, Rockwilder did the rest. The Neps produced all of her 1st and 2nd album, and these were the strongest of her career, far out and unpredictable, that is what Kelis is best known for!

I absolutely adore Kelis. Tasty was that rare thing in US RnB - an album great all the way through and not just 'one killer, rest filler' like most of the dross that gets churned out Stateside.
