This doesn't even look like it will get #1 this week. It is 15 thousand behind McFly. They are being very sneaky with their free video deal.

But hopefully GA can climb up next week cos everyone knows McFly will sink like the Titanic.

^ Yeah, I think this song will be the first in a while of Girls Alouds to hang around for a bit.

It's all about the fans really & McFly have a lot more, especially young girls who fancy them. I think thats why the Spice Girls worked because they won over girls too and had them buying their records.

Shame as it comes down to another 'mistake' week for Girls Aloud meaning they dont get to #1...

On Paul O'Grady Cheryl said it was #2 in the midweeks - so that's fantastic! 8-)

Only 500 copies ahead of Fedde Le Grand as of close of play Thursday though :( (however their sales for a #2/#3 record will probably be one of the highest of the year)

They were great performing this with a live band on The Album Chart Show last night...I'm not sure if it was a repeat or what.

The vocals were pretty heavily backed up with pre-recorded stuff; only Cheryl, Nadine and Kimberley seemed to do any live vocals. The chorus and fast talky bits weren't live anyway.
You said turn around so I cannot see your tears falling...

:x but :P , it will outlast McFly and only has Bodyrox to worry about next week. Fedde will climb to #1. They could grab a #2.

I'm disappointed, but hope it can stick around as next week is quiet.

I'm sure their sales were very good for a #3 though, more than some #1s this year I'd imagine. Hate to keep saying it but THEY SHOULD'VE RELEASED IT EARLIER!

Yeah, a few off their singles sold enough copies to get them #1's in quieter weeks. Shame really.

#3 is very good though. Their best performing single in a long while.

I think everyone should look on the positive side, yes its only #3 but then its also pretty amazing that its #3, I am really happy with this chart position and sales 40K is pretty impressive, especially since its gonna be one of their biggest hits to date.

I'm gutted this only got to #3. This so deserved #1. It should have been released on a quiet week. GA have the worst luck on the time of releasing.

Hopefully GA can retain #3 next week, but I think Fedde and Bodyrox will climb to #1 and #2.

Sales are more important than the placing. Remember those are good sale and thats all the record company will care about.

15,000

I think they will have done just over 40k this week also, as Fedde did 46k and although Fedde was increasing it was close between them all week

If they had waited to release the downloads they could have done 55k+ this week

Am I the only one here totally HOOKED ON their live performance on 'The Album Chart Show', still?

:o I think that was truly a performance to be remembered and the live band just added so much power to the song itself. *Plays on repeat*
