If it only reached No3 here, how well do you honestly think it will do in the U.S? :-?

To be fair #3 is decent and it sold hugely, though I agree the girls' brand of pop isn't US-friendly.

If they go over to America right after xmas and do some big promo for the whole of January they have a bit of a chance - the charts are shite in January lol. They could do well on the dance chart though, definately.

In complete fairness I do find this rather random though - you would think they would rather take on Europe than America, seeing as they havent made it there either

I think it will do well. Pop has been waiting for a new face and success for sometime now. They'll do justice

Cry For You by September got to #1 on the dance charts, so I could imagine SKO doing that too!

But that doesn't mean much, does it - its the Hot 100 that's important!

I didn't think it would botther the Hot 100 but still got a chance on the dance chart.
If it gets more people listening to them, then it's nto all bad.

If people are saying that Cheryl has nothing to do with the success of their new single and it was all down to the performance, then why wasent this top 120 when she wasent on X Factor? They didnt perform this recently...

Because of the new single, obviously. Why wasn't it top 120 2 or 3 weeks ago then, when Cheryl was also on the X Factor?

Agreed. This is my all-time favourite Girls Aloud track :)

Although I'm loving The Promise right now - so that getting to #1 is still a great thing :P

Tut, I love that line!

Simon: "One of the most meaningful lyrics ever written"
Victoria: "Better than zig-a-zig-ah?"

That made me giggle

Remember when an early version of the video was released and it looked even cheaper than the final version?
