So they're gonna go with a re-release of their biggest hit "Iris"?

Weird if you imagine that Ronan Kating just released the song a few months ago.

I must say I really love "Iris" though :)

Its not weird. Ronan's dire version has helped the song sell strongly on downloads recently. Despite only peaking at #26, it has sold 100,000 in CDS/ downloads- more than many #1s! I hope it goes top 30. Airplay will probably not be around because of Ronan. Stay With You i've not heard. That's the main focus of the release, obviously.

The original deserves a re-release, purely to show how monumentally shit Keating's version is. He deserves being hit for murdering that song. Hope it does well.

"Stay With You" is a pretty good song... definitely another strong single from them :D Surprised it's being double A-sided with "Iris", however classic that is though :o

So "Iris" might finally become a Top 20 hit in the UK...? Well, about 8 years too late. :P

#39. Obviously, Iris is a constant seller on downloads and it's physical re-release has had practically no effect whatsoever. It should hang around the top 75 for several weeks, tho.

#8 on iTunes now. It might outpeak previous #26 position... It should be #1 when it was released back in 90s!!

It sucks that they didn't have any other big songs in the UK.

Agreed, their 90s tunes rocks! I lost the interest in them in 00s though.

Knew it. Two people did it on The X Factor. It's obviously one of this year's "chosen" songs (last year being Make You Feel My Love).

Oh, despite this, Iris already spent almost 200 weeks (I think) inside top 200... It's one of the longest charting songs ever.

Did this really peak that low in the UK?! :o

This is one of the best songs of the 90s IMO, incredibly popular with on-going popularity... and I think many, many Australians regard it amongst their favourite tracks.

Spent five weeks at #1 here and a whopping 33 weeks in the top 50.
