Ah btw, "Liberation" will be released here in Switzerland early January. :D
Have you got a source to confirm that and if it is real? (Switzerland release of "Liberation") and do you think it will get to amazon.co.uk as a Switzerland import?
31.12.2008 :P
:) Does it also say that it's being released in Japan?

The Japanese import has been sold out.

Mýa is re-releasing her japanese album ‘Sugar and Spice’, and the new edition will drop this coming summer. Here is the official album cover art below for ‘Sugar and Spice - The Perfect Edition’:

This cover is her best to date without a doubt, it's brilliant! BTW there will be a new version of Paradise on it remastered by Ryan Leslie. I've heard it already and it's amazing like the original!

IMO, her best album cover remains for 'Fear Of Flying', but I do really like this new cover!

Will there be a second single?

I don't think so, this is just a gift for the very supportive japanese fans. This era is over she is bussy with recording her 6th studio album which will be for the US market.

I haven't listened to this album, because I'm not really interested in it, but I hope her US album is as good as "Liberation", but I also hope she does some pop influenced songs!

That cover is gorgeous though, but her best cover remains...

I think she should record a HOT banger and use some autotune cause that's whats hot at the moment. I want her to succeed whether it's with a good or bad song.

The release date for "The Perfect Edition" of "Sugar & Spice" is the 5th August and it will be 2 discs! I've asked amazon.co.uk to list this when it comes out so that it'll be easy for everyone to get hold of (hopefully they'll do it)

Yes! The Moodring cover is excellent! Down to the Styling, Hair, makeup, location etc... It also is so far her best album... So criminally underrated!

No there's no tracklist yet but it's 2 disc! So it will either have a bonus DVD or a LOT of bonus tracks! :D

http://www.myspace.com/manhattanrecords

Manhattan records posted the remix of "Shy Guy" and the finished version of "Wish You Were Here" that was posted in another topic. I like the remix and Wish You Were Here sounds less dead than the other one that was posted.

There's also a banner stating that Disc 1 is "Sugar and Spice: The Perfect Edition" and Disc 2 is the "Perfect Mya Mix" so im guessing disc 2 is a bunch of other mya songs remixed?

I really LOVE Liberation... A very great album; I also LOVE Paradise... but I think the era is over. I heard she released a new album/mixtape called "Beauty & The Streets"

I am in a throwback mood today and the first artist that came to mind was: Mya! She's actually a very underrated vocalist, these are my fave Mya performances:

Flawless, the adlibs, it sounded all so fresh and clear. The industry contained so much more skilled singers in the past compared to now.

Never really got into this album. Only songs I enjoyed are Cry No More, Paradise, Ego Trippin, and One for You. Oh and Fallen Pt. 2. The rest is bland.
