I've always been much more a fan of R&B Mariah so I really like this album.

Betcha Gon Know and Its A Wrap are 2 of her more interesting/unique songs.... H.A.T.E.U. I always thought sounded amazing (especially after a smoke) ..... Up Out My Face was so damn fun.... and some cool ballads with Impossible, Ribbon and Languishing.

I was totally on board for the remix album of this too. The Candy Bling remix was sick.

The Impossible could have been one of her greatest songs ever. It’s still good and one of my favorites off Memoirs tho.

She and Nicki Minaj had great chemistry on "Up Out My Face". I hope they make amends and create something again someday (though I imagine she's forever canceled in Mariah's books).

While I'd usually say this is behind Butterfly, there's some days I actually think this is Mariahs best album :o

I've long deleted Inseperable and Standing O, but the rest of the album is amazing.

Same here, I love the calming vibe of this album. It's so refreshing compared to a lot of the albums she made where she always had to have a showboat vocal moment.

An unpopular opinion for the ages!

I do believe this album is underrated, and people tend to focus more on the clunkers and ignore the quality of the top tracks. "Betcha Gon' Know (The Prologue)", "Angels Cry", and "I Want to Know What Love Is" are among her best songs, and "Obsessed" and "Standing O" are both noteworthy mid/uptempos.

Definitely one of her finest albums. It's so cohesive, which is quite a feat for Mariah.

Betcha Gon Know prologue is one of the best opening track among her 14 studio albums IMO. I love the remix with R Kelly too.

Up Out My Face with Nicki is catchy AF! Love how Languishing transitions into IWTKWLI

Obsessed is a BOP, some of my favorites are HATEU, Angels Cry.

Kaloki and his flop ass taste, gurl...
Inseparable is one of the best tracks off Memoirs
Def my fave. Plus her pen game was on point on this. Hoping she brings brack her storytelling ability like she did in BGK, H.A.T.E.U, Inseparable, Angels cry...

Luv this album so much.

Though this album underperformed, it was nice to see how Mariah was completely invested in this era. The rollout sucked as it suffered delays but having five music videos for a struggling era was such a treat for the fans! :D :D

I still cannot get over the "I Want to Know What Love Is" performance in Alan Carr and the iHeartRadio performances. She sounded so inspired. This era had better vocal performances tha E=MC².

Still an album I play regularly. Especially the Mariah vs Jumpsmokers edition.

The Angels Advocate Tour is probably her only tour where there were less songs performed that were from the supporting album. Even "I Want to Know What Love Is" and "H.A.T.E.U." were not on the main set list.

I wish the tour set list was this.

Betcha Gon' Know (Intro)
Migrate
It's Like That
H.A.T.E.U.
My All
Obsessed
Touch My Body
Ribbon
I Stay in Love
Dreamlover
Heartbreaker
Angels Cry
It's a Wrap
Bye Bye
I Want to Know What Love Is
We Belong Together (Encore)

She performed HATEU during the first few nights, not sure about IWTKWLI.

I really don't think it underperformed, tho.
It sold over 1.1m ww. Her last album to reach the 1m mark.

It did OK.

I was just watching a lot of her performances from this era and she seemed to be happy and relaxed in most of them.

H.A.T.E.U. is slept on. It’s one of her best songs released in the 00s. The title is the only thing I don’t like about it. Such a shame its release as a single was a mess.

Ok , now that Caution is released and I could enjoy it for some days, I decided it’s my 2nd favorite album I own from Mariah, this one, Memoirs, being my favorite.

I love the simplicity of this album and its straightforward r&b songs. The lyrics were on point too. Definitely one of her most underrated albums! But it’s so good.

So many great songs.

And just think of the two remix projects she did and now it just sits on the shelf. :(

An album dedicated for her RnB fans. I'm sure pop fans wont enjoy this record
Really her BEST album imo (TEOM is so overrated). I can listen to this album without skipping any tracks. Some people consider this record a bit mellow and monoton but that's the main point, maybe it needs certain mood to listen to. And as a whole album, it's very cohesive. Although maybe, if you only listen track by track, some songs sound weak.
Candy Bling is my least fave, but it grows on me.
The original version of MTJF should've had a proper rapper feature imo
