Got tickets on the floor of the Detroit show last minute with a friend and had the time of my life yesterday 8-)

She is one of the best performers ever, the setlist was top notch too  I was right next to the stage with her when she sang Joanne and Dancin In Circles

So lots of pictures these past days of Gaga in the studio with DJ White Shadow (who worked with Gaga in most of BTW and Artpop tracks and co-wrote The Cure) and he posted today a “Happy 4th anniversary” message to Artpop on his IG and pretty much confirmed they’re already working together on LG6... calling it “Artpop’s little sister”... stating later that by no means he meant that it’s an Act 2 or something, but a completely new era.
He also told fans to be “patient”.

I don’t think she’s having that break after the movie as she said and we’re probably getting the new album next year... (Otherwise I don’t think they’d be recording it already).

I wouldn't mind an "Artpop" Act 2 to be honest because i always loved that album

A new album in late 2018 would be awesome. "Joanne" is 'already' over one year old, so releasing something new in 2018 is nothing bad.

I don’t think it will have nothing to do with Artpop, obviously.
But working with him probably means the Joanne sound is gone and she will come back to a more pop and current sound (if the last song they worked together in -The Cure- is an indicator).
A new single in August and the new album in October would be perfect.

^ that would be awesome!

I'm really excited for her AMA performance. I wonder if they are really gonna push another single of "Joanne", like "Dancin In Circles". I mean, even if it's just for the fans, it would be cute for something in between the "Joanne" era and the new album, if she's really waiting until the second half of 2018 to release something new.

It seems that Lady Gaga is following the same Cyndi Lauper's trajetory. Both has been the first of the three albums with success and after a huge decline of popularity. Many times the music industry has been very cruel with talented artists like her. I don't know what to hope to her next album.

^ But GaGa is on her fourth album now (TF/TFM > BTW > A > J) and "Joanne" is clearly a big success for her. Even if her sales declined, i think her popularity rose again in 2017 (see how the tour is selling)

Lol. Go trolling somewhere else.
You Madonna fans have tried with that Cyndi Lauper thing for years now. Nobody’s buying it besides you.

Let's hope her new album will be as good as BTW, that was Gaga at her best.

Joanne was such a different sound for her yet she somehow made it work. It may not be what her fanbase was expecting but it brought respect to her as a musician imo.

She needs something good. She needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out what people want because no matter what else she does, it has to start with amazing music.

I’m looking forward to A Star Is Born though. Love the Judy Garland movie.

I kinda want her to do an album with urbanish/R&B/pop/soul music. And I don't mean the trap kind of music but maybe something building on The Cure, No Way, Do What U Want. Second Time Around, but A little more organic and a little less generic than The Cure was.

I hope she gives us some dance music on her new album.

I loved her best when she did Just Dance, Pokerface, Telephone, Bad Romance and Born This Way.
