:D It's so sad how people don't really treat her as a real singer, even though she's made a lotta albums before. Her "BareNaked" album was pretty cool. I mean it was pretty catchy. I think I might listen to it again because I haven't listened to that since I got it. I think I still have one of her old albums, but I dunno. I think it was the one with the ballad "Ordinary Love," or some track like that. Jennifer Love Hewitt can sing with her soft vocals, but I think she's just laying low as an actress and a singer right now. I think she's trying to enjoy her life and try to find a job at a local supermarket or something because she seems to not be able to find a job anywhere else nowadays. Too bad she's in "Has-Been Land" right now. Oh well, but it would be cool to hear a new album from her. Maybe she'll go crazy and come back with an album full of avant garde electronica or something...Nah, she's always been a square, so I won't be expecting anything near the like unless hell freezes over.

Yeah, she's a great singer. Her tone is amazing. Here in the Philippines, she was already popular with radio hits like "No Ordinary Love" and "Cool with You". Of course, "BareNaked" and "Can I Go Now" also became hits years later.

I LOVE "Barenaked".
It's a pity that she's never had the chance to follow it up because she's a very underrated vocalist.
There were whispers around the time she was doing "Ghost Whisperer" from then boyfriend Jamie Kennedy that she was working on some country music but sadly nothing ever eventuated except for the two promo songs "Big Spender" and "W.O.M.A.N" she did for "The Client List".
Hopefully she'll feel the urge again one day but there's enough of her material to enjoy.

1992

I wish she would release a Barenaked 2.0. I love this album so much. I just listened to it last week. The work she did here with Meredith Brooks is amazing.

Too bad she never received props for her singing career. She really deserved more recognition, especially during the Barenaked era. Can I Go Now should've been a worldwide mega hit.

I never understood why I didn't happen. Song is great and so is the video.

Her vocals are strong and she looks so hot! I don't get why she was not more successful

I feel like JIVE never cared for J.Love, they didn't promote her properly. I guess there's no J.Love big live TV performance during the Barenaked era (awards or something), only those Late TV shows and Sessions @ AOL.

She did Teen Choice Awards in 2002, I remember that so well because it was the only live performance I saw of "BareNaked". There was an MTV documentary criticizing her trying to want to make it again, I forgot the name of the show, it was something like they were saying that Jennifer was too late in doing the teen pop/rock thing since many have been launched by the late 1990s like Britney, Christina, Jessica, Michelle Branch, Avril, Vanessa Carlton, etc.

That’s a shame as her voice is better than most of the girls listed there.
She was supposed to be working in a country album a few years ago but that never materialised
