the Mariah and Club Nouveau songs were good, but Rhythm Nation was much better than that boring ass Phil Collins song lol

Hmmm all good songs I suppose...apart from that Lean On Me cover which I just listened too - crap!

Their other hit, "Why You Treat Me So Bad" is much better... J. Lo sampled it heavily on I'm Gonna Be Alright and a few others have done it too.

I want a new album now. 'Unbreakable' was really good, but I want some fun, cheerful stuff next.

Discipline ( which I really like) was a feel good record but it was trashed by her fans.

I wonder what happened to the "new music" that was promised when she announced the last tour.

She might premiere a new song at some of these upcoming festivals. And I'm really hoping for a duet with Bruno. It would be a nice introduction of Janet to younger generations.

I really don’t think she will. She doesn’t seem to have much confidence in her new material. She’ll perform Rhythm Nation, Nasty, etc.

I kind of hope for the opposite with new music, rather than fun and uptempo. I want something girtty and socially conscious in line with the name of the 'State of the World' tour. Unbreakable was enjoyable but so safe.

I like it even copped. It's simple yet glamorous and very classy. It's especially good when you have it in your hands. Great design of the booklet. Very sophisticated.

really? by whom? It seems like the general consensus I've seen is that Unbreakable was upper tier material and much better than the couple albums preceding it.

Unbreakable is great it sits perfectly with her other 4 classiscs, i love Discipline too but since Janet didn’t contribute to it, its seen as one of her worst.

Discipline has that awful ballads section in the middle and too many interludes after that. Maybe if the tracklisting was different, it might have been a tad better

1. Intro
2. Feedback
3. LUV
4. Rollercoaster
5. So Much Betta
6. Rock With U
7. 2nite
8. Interlude
9. The 1 (feat. Missy Elliott)
10. What's Ur Name
11. Can't B Good
12. Interlude
13. Never Letchu Go
14. Greatest X
15. Interlude
16. Discipline
17. Curtains

However, The 1 and Greatest X are possibly the 2 worst songs Janet has ever recorded, so no amount of rearranging could make it much better.
