She has already achieved legendary status but her outburst tears it apart every time she opens her mouth.

If she did another series of Moesha, her legend status will be forever cemented

It's a song that featured on Ray J's new project.

I miss programs like Moesha and Fresh Prince. They were funny but had a deep meaning about life etc in each episode.

I love me some Brandy but she hasn't had a smash hit since her hit n'run.

Yeah Put It Down did pretty good for the R&B climate at the time. Although it was 5 years ago now.

She always delivers on her records. It's a shame she doesn't have the commercial success to match her talent.

She used to have that success, it's just that she lost her fanbase over the years. Her situation was quite frustrating as during the height of R&B in the mainstream in the 2000s, her popularity was already waning!

^^ and people are still holding it against her even though it's been 15 years since then

I liked that NBC interview but I'm tired of her talking about new music without releasing anything.

I really don't feel like the marriage thing did anything against. I mean it made a headline for half a day and that was it

She was truly the American urban sweetheart. The she got pregnant, had a fake marriage and broke societi s expectations.. (No stereotypical "get married firtst, then have child, live happily ever after"). Then she sadly got someone killed in the accident. It all led to her downfall.

I don't think the wedding did. People just weren't feeling Talk About Our Love (although it was equipped with a phenomenal, criminally underrated album), she stopped at two singles. Afro still went gold. Didn't tour.

I do believe the accident did though.

Honestly, as much as I love Brandy, her commercial appeal/success was beginning to wane any way at the start of the 2000's. Full Moon only went platinum. Afrodisiac barely scrapped gold in sales. That accident was just the nail in the coffin.
