Dude she's almost 72, she's earned the right to do it after so many years of live performances.

Age is but a number. Cher is a seasoned performer and a performance where she’s stood singing should be really easy for her. I’m always disappointed when anyone mines - even Madonna.

AWESOME news!

Apparently she got the role of Meryl Streep character's mom and she'll be in the flashback scenes.

Btw, the song she'll sing is 'Fernando' 8-)

I heard she was playing Aunt Sofia? She’s the old woman who supposedly Sophie is named after and left Donna a load of money.

Don't think it's been mentioned but Classic Cher has 24 new dates, 18 in Las Vegas and 6 in New York. I would have preferred a tour in 2018 but it's looking highly likely that Cher will never do a worldwide tour again.

I am so happy to hear the news about Mamma Mia! Cher was asked to play in the first movie but i think i read somewhere that she couldn't do it as she was doing shows that time. So, she agreed to do Burlesque as she really wanted to do a musical.

I really need to make it a point to see one of her shows. I can't believe I've yet to go to one.

Haven't heard Walls yet - but I'm ready for it!

I don’t think she’ll ever do a world tour, but I think (and pray) she’ll sort something out for London one day - she could easily pull off a short residency at The o2 if it’s marked as her only European dates.

I honestly don't know why she's not touring internationally anymore. Or at least to a couple of shows in Europe. She obviously doesn't have to do it anymore, but it would be a nice treat for her international fans.

She is over it. Clearly she isn’t over performing, but all the travel and touring... easier to get people to come to one place. I know she’s toured the US, but that’s basically her back garden.

Would be cool if Cher would be reunited with Carol Burnet again!
