She's not coming from Sugababes
No, she has more staying power than that 8-)
Every time she releases new album it sells 65% less than the previous one
Every time the Sugababes release a new album 33% of their membership is brand new

I read on their wikipedia page that they signed a 3 album deal in 2009. Whatever happened to these three albums?
Girls' Generation
HyoYeonBritney Spears

Girls' Generation is the best-selling girl group of all time.

I'm pretty sure they lied to keep fans calm.

We are not calm. We are livid. It must be what Sugababes fans feel like when the line up changes every 2 months.

I do remember thinking at the time they wouldn’t be recorded. As soon as they announced that break I knew it was game over for Girls Aloud albums and the best we had were GH albums and tours in our future.

It could be worse though - GA gave me over 100+ songs. It’s hard being a lifelong Spice Girl fan with under 50 official songs...

About the lack of GA yes. Over Sugababes? Never. I always thought the ‘feud’ between fanbases was hugely exaggerated.

It wasn't. I was reminded of it when i was re-reading some of their older threads here.

I think, at the time, it was a bit feisty but we’re all old enough and wise enough now to appreciate both.

I have never understood Stan wars, so not being in any of them maybe I forget. But stupid anyway... GA clearly more superior.

Does anyone know when Sacred Heart was recorded? I’m guessing they recorded it for SOTU album (based on vocals) but it would have been shady as **** if they recorded it specifically for TSOGA

Bad enough they put it on their greatest hits album in the first place, regardless of when it was recorded. It has some nice bells in it, so I like adding it to their Christmas album (along with Stay Another Day) to create a 10 track Xmas album

So yesterday it was officially 10 years since Out of Control was released. So 10 years ago today I was in a pop coma from hearing Untouchable for the first time.

It also that means in the last 10 years Girls Aloud have only released 6 songs. Please come back. My big pop heart can’t take the lack of decent pop music.

I find it weird how fond they seem to be of OC - I know it garnered them the most success but the quality of the album was comparatively poor compared to their previous couple.

I thought they’d have bad memories of that time because theee was clearly a rift in the group by then.

You’d have thought so but they were maybe over Nurdeen at that point so just enjoyed themselves? Who knows. Maybe it’s the fact it is their only studio album to go to #1?

Hey all! I just wanted to come in and stan a bit for Girls Aloud! I downloaded Ten this morning and I have been having such a great time singing and jamming. It has definitely made the first hour of my depressing job a bit better!
