This is sad. As the lone executive producer of the album, she really should do something about this. It's a great (albeit very short) record to be slept on. And she's doing a world tour to support the album. Is it too late to do an album/ticket bundle at this point?

Just Be A Man About It because I can dramatically lipsync to it

I Love Me Some Him is a bit boring.

I love both songs.

"Just Be a Man About It" was a terrible second single though.

"The Heat" should have been the second US single while "Spanish Guitar"as the second international single. She would have sold a lot more with those songs released!

She did a video for Maybe but it was too explicit.

Nope

This was a Promo video
Along with:

Im still breathing
The heat
Give it to me (didnt appear on the album)

Just for tv to use in reports ECT to have something visually.
They also did this with the secrets album ( there are promo videos for find me a man and this time next year ect)

Original release date for single / album was okt / Nov 1999

I remember it from her website

I am still breathing and give it to me were mentioned along with the album title.

Toni said she didn't like the concept that a body double was used and she had no time and so on

I also would have loved Toni to sing with Whitney on 'same script diffrent cast

I hate Deborah Cox.
Yet the song is HORRIBLE but I would have loved Toni to do it just for drama ;-)

Oh love talks like this.
Trivia stuff

1. She also completed a full video for I DON'T WANT TO, which wasn't released. She had short hair and was a in bath tube. A mini snippet was shown as a preview on American tv one day in early 1997.

2. Gary Barlow wanted her to duet on HANG ON TO OUR BABY in 1998. She declined.

3. She was going to do the 'the eartha kitt story' for tv in 97 - 98

4. Rumoured to be cast as Ms Bhaven in 'batman and robin' 1997.
Mr freezes sex kitten.

5. Michael Jackson loved Breathe again.

6. Toni said that 'Breathe again' was written with TLC in mind and ' another sad love song' for pebbles.

7. Please was originally called Breathe.

8. In 99/00 she going to do a science fiction movie called '6'. She was going to play an alien I think.

9. 'Today', a left over from Secrets, was demoed by Britney Spears in 1997 I think.

10. 'This time next year' was recorded for 'secrets. Then appeared with alternative lyrics on her Xmas album.

11. 'More then a woman' was originally titled AMPLIFIED.

12. Celin Dion was also rumored to have been offered ' Spanish guitar'.

13. There was a rumor that Toni was going to sing 'Because you loved me' by Celine. Crap song anyway.

14. 'Isn't it beautiful' ( can't remember the exact title anymore) was a rumoured Whitney duet ca. 1999.

15. Mariah asked her to duet in the late 90s Toni said.

16. The Original UNBREAK MY HEART video had a James bond/ spy plot not the 'a star is born' version we got.

17. The guy from the UNBREAK video was going to appear in the HOW COULD AN ANGEL.... video. But she was in London on tour and used a black guy from her crew

18. Left eyes rap on 'gimme some' was first used on TLCs ' I need that's in 99 and later again on 'who's it gonna be' ( a left over from 3d)

I remember this video. It was actually a promo video for the album with the same name. Song was never even thought of as a single.

TB is one of my favorite debuts ever. The only songs I never really cared for are Love Affair and Spending My Time With You.

Best Friend is a special one. And she SANG the heck out of it.

It's a bittersweet feeling to listen to the old nineties R&B albums. Whatever happened to the music today? It's all dependent on beats and talking and the melodies and singing are getting extinct now.
