Can’t believe it’s ten years. She still has that voice.

She has everything to succeed. She's got the voice, she can dance and she has the stage presence. I think the one thing missing is her catalogue. The songs don't make her justice.

A successful career in musical theater should not be sniffed at.

She’s not likeable.
She comes across like she loves herself - her guest judge stint on The X Factor put me off her for good.
She was lucky to have Beyoncé help her win.

I don't think she's unlikeable, but she can come across as bitchy.

It never seems to hurt male artists though - they can be as egoistical as they like.

Alex is talented and deserves more, but after The Truth Is I lost my faith in her

I agree for most part
The Truth Is should have been released in 2029 not in this phase of her career though.

I wouldn't blame her. After all, everyone says it's important learning to love ourselves.

From UK chart domination to a musical theatre success. You can’t compare.
From like being a successful financial manager now retrenched but you now a successful manager at Burger King. Both titles are successful but you just can’t compare; her commercial career then to now (or even from the second era)

She's honestly the best UK performer of her generation and thoughts like that is what brought her down. I hate how what is obviously a bubbly personality has been portrayed as fake and obnoxious by the mass media, and the gp just eats it up. She's done nothing wrong, and I will always support her.

Yeah it is. I tend not to warm to or like people who come across like they love themselves. A bit of humbleness goes a long way with the general public and there’s a difference between positive confidence and arrogance and I think that she became a little bit arrogant. Like I already said, that came across for me during her guest judge stint on the X Factor. I also think the record label and everyone behind her had it drummed into her head that she was going to become the UK Beyoncé and that can go to your head. Unfortunately, the public went off her relatively quickly. Since she was dropped, I do think she’s probably made the effort to rebuild things for herself and I’m sure she’s quite a draw for anyone going to see the Bodyguard music. I’d like to see it too but unfortunately she does the opposite for me and puts me off going to see it.

Im looking at the finale with her and Beyoncé. Her music during her debut era was great but I always saw her as too full of herself. When I opened the booklet for the deluxe, it was like copying the poses and pics of Beyoncé. It came across as very Beyonce, and lacked originality.
