I didn't know she got dropped!? That's shocking. Her debut album is stunning. I didn't get into her second album, but Last Year was amazing too!.

Anyone else a fan?

I really liked her debut album - so many good tunes! 'What You're Made Of' is still her best track & I love the video for it, but 'The Game Is Won', 'Without You', 'Twisting The Chain' & 'Don't Look Back' are all great too.

Never checked out her 2nd album but I keep meaning to.

Her debut is one of my favourite albums ever and "What You're Made Of" is possibly amongst my 3 favourite ballads of all time.
If I ever decide to go and audition for X-factor, that would be my audition song! :P

Oh guys, definitely DO check out her second album, I wouldn't say it was necessarily as consistent as the first but there are MANY tracks on there as good as the debut CD.

Had the pleasure of seeing her live (outstanding) and meeting her a few times. Simply one of the nicest people, let alone celebrities, that I've ever met.

A very big fan! She was talking of doing an acoustic CD with tracks from the first two albums but I think there were legal issues. Now she is always talking about the third album, so hopefully she knows something we don't about a label!

I've only met her once, but she is incredibly nice indeed!
I used to be a massive fan of her, both her albums are very strong and I never understood why The Same Side did so badly. It did very well over here in The Netherlands though.

I love Lucie, she did some promo in Indonesia with her first album... and I love that album too, she's better than some other singing and piano-playing female singers out there.

The Same Side is good, but it just lacked strong tracks. The reason why she did well with the first album because she was a new artist, with a new sound, and people were probably more invested with her back then. But it's good that she still has some success outside of the UK.

Waiting for the new album! Any news about it?

Her debut album was classic, almost perfect. Her next one was a DULL mid-tempo mess.

Her debut album was amazing - one of my favourite records from the last decade, but I lost interest in her after hearing "Last Year". I didn't even bother with the album after that.

Yes! You echo my exact feelings - 'Last Year' was such a dull song with a dull video, & as I didn't have the internet at home at the time I never bothered to check out the rest of the album so I didn't buy it.

Oh I've gone on to Spotify immediately & I've already heard it all before. 'Sinking In' is catchy but I didn't take to anything else.

Something About You is my favourite song on The Same Side. I remember this album and the Jamelia song came out around the same time and loving both songs so much.

From tomorrow you'll be able to hear the song 'Roots' for free from the new album titled 'Letters to Ghosts'

She's also supporting Jamiroquai on a couple dates!

I love both albums. Her second album had to grow on me, but now I think it's waaaaay better than the first album.
I bought both albums in the cd/dvd (with live concert) version.

Can't believe there's still no 3rd album.

She's posted a link to a new song 'Unbreakable Us' on her Facebook page, and suggested the date February 3rd 2015. According to the site she linked to, there will be a self-titled indie EP released, so presumably Letters To Ghosts is scrapped now.

I'm still hopeful for this. As a Lucie fan for years, I'm used to getting my hopes up for nothing, but it does seem like she's found her home in Nashville; and hopefully things are looking positive. :D

Wiki:

On 3 February 2015 Lucie released her self-titled EP across the US and Canada, just before its release across Europe, to give fans a taste of what is to come with the new album, set for release later this year.

I used to stan so hard for her (I even posted on her forum  ), but many years of waiting for not very much has caused my interest to wane a little. I like that she's a little more active again on Facebook and stuff, and I like the idea of her finding herself in Nashville - I just wish I was more excited for the new album. :( I kind of feel like I've supported her for so long now that it's her turn to deliver something. :(
