I'm still amazed that Despacito was even nominated for anything. Yes, the song was huge, but Grammy material? *scratches head* Sounds like every other summer hit.
If the ultra generic "SIngle Ladies" was able to win Song of the Year, "Despacito" which is a global Latin smash deserved at least a nod.

Classic case of "whataboutism". How about you present a real argument for Despacito? Good luck.

Why are indie rock bands attacking Bruno on Twitter?

If anyone should be mad, it's the black R&B artists but they have been very gracious congratulating bruno.
Seven number ones on Billboard Hot 100 and fourteen top ten hits since 2010/ Bruno Mars.

I'm more surprised to see the 'backlash' when their favor didn't win a shit last night.

All the sudden hates are amazing! Bruno, you keep doing your shit and keep winning!

Don't waste your time, for some reason GetBack's arguments always find a way to include Bey in a negative way,

People never seems to be satisfied these days, I also don't get why people get so upset to drag and attack people online over an awardshow, sometimes you win sometimes you lose

To be honest, his backlash was NOWHERE as big as it was towards Taylor, Beck, Adele & Macklemore when they won Album of the Year. So we're good.

Who cares about backlash? No award show result ever will statisfy everyone, so you'll always have bitter haters venting afterwards. Of course they'll attack whoever won and isn't to their liking, that's a given.

It's funny that people believe that collab gonna happen just bc Ciara posted that pic. It doesn't work like that with Bruno but ok...

They say in the description to find out news regarding both of them very soon, doesn't say they are working on something they might be doing a new remix  or she could just be an opening act during his Asia tour

Bruno, himself, feels “saddened.” Our source further explains, “It saddened him that people would argue over his success as a musician or attack him for appropriating, manipulating, or misrepresenting a culture. His motivations and goals has always been to bring people together with love through his music, not to divide.”
Bruno considers himself an artist and a citizen of the world, but he is also proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. He has a lot of respect for black music and listened to everything from R&B, to hip-hop, rap and more growing up, he loves it all. He credits black people with creating rock, hip-hop, funk and everything else great in America and he is proud to be a part of the American music landscape,” a source close to Bruno, 32, tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Bruno addressed the issue in a 2017 interview with Latina. “When you say ‘black music,’ understand that you are talking about rock, jazz, R&B, reggae, funk, doo-wop, hip-hop, and MoTown,” he said. “Black people created it all. Being Puerto Rican, even salsa music stems back to the Motherland. So, in my world, black music means everything.”

During an episode of YouTube’s The Grapevine on March 8, YouTuber Sensei Aishitemasu, argued why Bruno should not profit off “black music” as a non-black person of color. “Bruno Mars is 100 percent a cultural appropriator,” Sensei ranted. “He is racially ambiguous. He is not black, at all, and he plays up his racial ambiguity to be able to do cross-genre and going into different places.”

So why not go after Post Malone, Lil Pump or some other pit stain who’s embarrassing and making a mockery of black culture right now? Why go after Bruno, somebody who actually has talent, integrity and a respect for black history and black musicians who have paid their dues?

^These are exctracts from an old interview he did at the beginning of 24k era. Now they;re acting like it's the news.
He'll be fine, people had nothing of it and got all up in ams to defend him. Mainly in black community. It's the perfect example of backfire.

Amen Goldmoney! Because he is actually more talented then Post Malone and I'm sure she is trying to grow her YouTube account with those comments she will move on to the next hot thing it pops in a couple of months. The more you feed the worst it gets. Mars should be able to make a profit of every single record he sells, whether it is pop, R&B, rock. They have no idea of what cultural appropriation is in the first place...

BTW that source...I don't think he feels sad with that huge pile of money and awards he is sitting on right now...but ok
