Nice choices you seem to be a fan of their more pop side. ;)

A Top 5 of their best songs is so hard to do..

I guess mine it's something like this:

01. Utopia
02. Happiness
03. Strict Machine
04. Satin Chic
05. A&E

Oh, and if Fondue Knight had a studio version, I'm sure it would be in my Top 3.

I like all of their studio albums but Head First is the weakest for me, the singles were mostly the weakest songs on the album!!

Supernature and Felt Mountain my favourites though Felt Mountain would be my #1 as love every single track :D And you can tell I'm a fan as that's where I got my Username from (one of their songs)

Goldfrapp in my YE 2012 album chart:
#82 Felt Mountain
#135 Head First
#154 Supernature
#171 Seventh Tree

With a new album out this year they will KILL 2013 I reckon. 8-)

Goldfrapp Twisted Summer (Part 1)
Goldfrapp Twisted Summer (Part 2)

I found this interesting! Alison is so cute! This is just Behind The Scenes footage and more of an insight in to them! :D

Also can someone tell me what the song White Soft Rope is, and where I can download it? :o

They are going to play a set of songs this Sunday at BBC Radio 6, and we can choose what songs they will play by tweeting our suggestions with #Goldfrapp6Music. :)

We can also suggest covers by other artists. I tweeted Eat Yourself and an acoustic version of Tiptoe, and a cover of Unravel by Bjork.

If any big star did a cover of "I Wanna Live" I'm sure that this could be a very big hit!

6 solid albums in a row. Image

My rank for now:

#1 Felt Mountain
#2 Seventh Tree
#3 Tales of Us (coming for that #1 or #2)
#4 Head First (underrated, I think it's great)
#5 Black Cherry
#6 Supernature

I just prefer mellow/folky Goldfrapp, it works like magic with Alison's vocals too.

I'm still waiting for that James Bound soundtrack from them... :-? Alison's voice would be perfect, and it would suit her Felt Mountain style!

The reason I think it's underrated is because most people seem to think it's rubbish and their worst but the album is in fact pretty good! Don't get the hate, it's lush. :D

Changed again already...

#1 Felt Mountain (-)
#2 Tales of Us (+1)
#3 Seventh Tree (-1)
#4 Head First (-)
#5 Supernature (+1)
#6 Black Cherry (-1)

:P

Tales of Us feels like a frosty and chilling sequel to FM. 8-)

Black Cherry won't grow on me at all. But I do like the glitchy electro sound in combination with strings (i.e. Tiptoe) 8-) It's just that the melodies bore me

Tales Of Us is a true grower. Two months ago it would've been a distant sixth place, now I think I'd rank it higher

1. Black Cherry (this was the album that won me to them. I loved the hybrid of Felt Mountain as well as a teaser of the dance music to come, the best of both worlds)
2. Felt Mountain (classic)
3. Head First (a lot of people loathe it but it was a fun record, especially if you like the cheesy 80s pop it was paying homage to)
4. Tales Of Us (at first I hated it, but it is brilliant once you hear it in the right frame of mind)
5. Supernature (I loved this album when it came out, but a lot of it hasn't really stood the test of time. Still about half of the album I really love)
6. Seventh Tree (never was a huge fan of it, but didn't hate it either. I liked the earthy hippie vibe to it and there are some real gems on there)
