She's 1-2 shows away from topping Bette Midler's Vegas total and she might've also topped Rod Stewart also (will clarify once I've reworked all of the boxscores for my Vegas topic).

That will leave the following acts ahead: Celine, Elton, Britney & Cher.

Thanks for this.

It's highly unlikely based on the current leg.

She averaged $629k for the last run of shows, if she averaged the same numbers for her next 30 shows, she'd be looking at just less than $19 million grossed which would take her to around $90 million.

If she averaged $800k per show, she'd gross $24 million, which would take her to around $95 million.

She'd need to average $966k per show to top the $100 million mark.

Um no it's not, it's not 'pretty good for her', she has outstanding result. Almost 1m per date in Vegas is one of the biggest ever results there, if not the biggest.

With reference to this:
  • Britney Spears is the only act to have topped $1 million for a single show (as far as we know - don't forget, we usually get boxscores as batches of shows so it's possible that other acts have done it but we'll never know for sure).
  • Celine has the highest "per show" average for multi show run with her New Year shows last year averaging $976k.
But you're right, what Jennifer did achieve in Vegas at the beginning was remarkable - though what she's pulling now will drag those numbers down. For reference (this is up to the first week of Jan 18):

The streams are from this article from OCC ::

Taking the bronze? It's got horns, it's got hand claps – it's Get Right. Back in 2005, brass instrumentation bops were all the rage, and Jennifer didn't want to miss out, so she unleashed Get Right and went and had her second Number 1 with it! It's sold 260,000 copies and racked up almost nine million streams.
9 million / 150 (UK ratio) = 60,000
260,000 + 60,000 = 320,000 units

Jennifer's first chart-topper in 2001 was Love Don't Cost A Thing which has sold 244,00 copies and notched up six million streams
6 million / 150 (UK ratio) = 40,000
244,000 + 40,000 = 284,000 units

Ain't Your Mama may not have set the charts alight, but it's J-Lo's second most streamed track, with 9.7 million plays making it her 14th biggest song.
9.7 million / 150 = 65,000
+100,000 units

Those numbers match with the rank posted by OCC :D

^ That's really surprising about "Ain't Your Mama". :o

130,000 units for a song that peaked at #182 and spent one week inside the Top 200! :o This could even go Silver eventually too! :o

Between that and the song being certified Gold (and probably even close to Platinum by now) in the US despite a peak of #76 and spending only 2 weeks on the Hot 100, it's quite obvious the song would've been a decent hit in both countries if it had received radio support.

Still, the song was a hit regardless. 8-)

J. LO was Jennifer at her peak so understandably is her most famous album. This is Me Then started very well but 'only' had two smash singles and by the time I'm Glad was released her image was starting to be affected by the Bennifer thing.

So she could have a platinum album now. They are keeping in touch with singles, but why not certificate this album?

She's not with Universal anymore… So sadly, I doubt they'll certify this now.

SPS wasn't counted for albums certifications back then, so that's why they didn't certify it then, I guess.

OTF doing wonders for this. Amazing numbers.

Hopefully they certify it even if she's not with them anymore.
