DJ Snake & Justin Bieber Debut at No. 1 on Digital Songs & No. 12 on Hot 100 With 'Let Me Love You'For the second time in three weeks, a Bieber collab is the top-selling song of the week in the U.S.
DJ Snake's "Let Me Love You," featuring Justin Bieber, bounds in at No. 1 on Billboard's Digital Songs sales chart (dated Aug. 27), selling 113,000 downloads in its first week (ending Aug. 11), according to Nielsen Music.
On the Billboard Hot 100 (which combines sales, airplay and streaming data), "Love" begins at No. 12.
DJ Snake snares his first Digital Songs No. 1, while Bieber earns his sixth. He tallied his fifth on the Aug. 13 chart, when "Cold Water," by Major Lazer featuring Bieber and MO, opened on top (with 169,000); on the new Aug. 27 chart, the song rebounds 6-4, although down 4 percent to 66,000, in its third week. (On the Hot 100, "Water" rebounds 5-2 in its third week, returning to its peak, first reached in its debut week.)
With his sixth Digital Songs No. 1, Bieber moves closer to the record among male artists, held by Eminem, with nine. Drake and Bruno Mars follow with seven each, while Justin Timberlake has also earned six. Among all acts, Rihanna rules with 14 Digital Songs No. 1s.
Meanwhile, Bieber makes his fourth entrance at No. 1 on Digital Songs. Prior to "Cold Water," he bowed at the summit with "Boyfriend" (April 14, 2012) and "What Do You Mean?" (Sept. 19, 2015). Rihanna and Taylor Swift lead all artists with nine No. 1 Digital Songs debuts each.
